It seems DA comes with some sort of background auto update. How does this work and where can I see (other than the config tool) which version I am running? Is there a way to manually check for updates?
Is playing blocked while an update is downloaded (if one becomes available?)

Yeah I am curious too this as well. It seems that a game should have a notification that an update is available at the least but I can't seem to find that setting and the EA Tech Support page is slow in posting patches. It would seem a no brainer to have updating built into the launcher or game proper.
