Your priorities are totally backward then. Low N7s should totally equip, or GTFO. If you want to carry bronze scrubs to credits they didn't earn, but wont accept someone who can keep up with you with or without equipment, you seriously have a personal issue that needs adressing. A new manifest (and usually new player) with no equipment can't even contribute, and this is the **** all the PUGs have been lately. No equipment, no missiles, no medigel, bleed out every wave. I'd rather take the competent person who can still play the game than the useless corpse who slows the game down and makes it harder.

TL;DR Get over yourself.

EDIT: Other than an adrenaline module, what EQ do you think has any effect on the potency of a Fury? Biotic Explosions every 1.3 seconds with a light loadout, with the direct biotic damage so low that a Power Amp would have a 1% effect on your overall damage. Why take a weapon amp for a gun you almost never fire? Or an ammo for a gun you almost never fire?

But I'm not gonna argue that second part. Though I disgaree mostly, you make a good point, but it's more the principal that counts. No need for arbitrary equipment. Ghosts typically don't need anything in the Armor section of equipment so I see where you're coming from.

That was the point I was trying to make, some equipment slots are pretty pointless on certain characters. I tend to pick those characters when I'm lacking those consumables. It's been really hard finding combinations that work on my wife's account, as it is a new manifest. I'm grateful to my friends for letting me play these minimum equips.

My Fury likes shields. Keeps her alive when Banshee warps/Atlas rockets, Crab battles hurt her. I feed on the shields of my foes to give me immortality. As for Cryo rounds on biotics...

Cyclonics don't help if you don't get hit. Which a good fury shouldn't.

 

Also, I believe you are doing the Fury wrong. Your valued Acolyte works against you. 1) You WILL NOT charge it in the 1.2s cooldown of Throw, you've just slowed your BEs down, and destroyed the shields that would've kept you alive. Gratz, you just died in the spawn, further slowing the game down. Great Fury you are. Not to mention the enemy in question was Reapers. The ONLY enemy unit that your arguement makes any sense against is Marauders, who you REALLY want the shields from. Gratz, you again screwed yourself over. Great Fury you are.

 

All the points you have mentioned make the fury worse, likely dead, and the game slower. I suggest you get better at the character before trying to tell someone else how to play it.

 

I never have, and never will, be playing in OniTYME's specifically claimed lobby. And I am perfectly OK with that. Part of why I like playing with my friends is their attitude and the great time we have together, I never quicksearch Gold, and am usually the host.

 

I suggest you in future read the entire discussion before jumping in with assumptions.

Relax buddy.  No need to get upset.  Don't knock the build unless you've tried it.  Cryo rounds with biotics are amazing.  Warp rounds are usually better, but with the Acolyte, Cryo works wonders.

 

I'd challenge you to a 1v1 Thunderdome but you play on PS3.  You could even pick the enemy.

I guess I'm one of the few that has no interest in ME:A. ME3 is a buggy enough mess for me. Neither EA nor Bioware have a particularly good history of getting this less wrong with successive titles. I'm not buying a new console for more of the same fail.

I'm not Finnish. I'm Australian (Which is why I am offensive, loud, swear a lot, and am otherwise an all-round nice guy). I just married a Finn, and so live in Finland. I don't know of many other Finnish posters other than my wife, though I do suspect a few. If the PS3 Leaderboards are anything to show, Finns aren't that knowledgable at the game, last I checked first was 140k CP and plays bronze (like, all day long)....

I don't see how. XBox controllers aren't designed for humans, they're designed for aliens with two thumbs and mishapen hands. And a Keyboard and Mouse are not for gaming. I have enough trouble using a mouse as it is. I've only found ONE brand that doesn't give me cramps within moments of using it. I still couldn't go a whole game with one (even if I COULD aim with one), the discomfort level would be too high, and my performance would scale down as the enemies goes tougher.... PS3 is pretty much the only system that I have found that I can comfortably use. Sad, but true.

Nothing... absolutely nothing beats a PC at gaming. And if you really can't deal with keyboard and mouse (what kind of mutant are you?!), then you can easily use a controller, too.

 

Get a proper gaming mouse & keyboard and you'll never want to go back to those casual crap consoles.

Did you just say laptop? You don't play on laptops, those are for work. Any laptop that can keep up with a desktop PC in terms of performance will be much more expensive.

 

I wouldn't buy a PS3, not when the PS4 is the current one. You could always order stuff from another country, like Sweden, the UK or Germany. One of them is bound to have better prices.

True. Too much Meshuggah can make anyone aggressive. Even Wall Street wolves. I really hope ME:A has cross platform play. Moar devs need to apply this practice. I'd be great fun to play with those Xbox heads and PS4 bearers along with the PC mustards.

That's the spirit! I look and S-PoS II and I see XBone's library minus the great exclusives like Halo and Forza...

 

Then I look at PC and see Steam, AMD Zen, Phantom 3 towers and no signing fees for membership.

Another reason to switch to PC then. I can still play all my games on the newest machine, even the 20+ years old ones.
