In the light of recent cobra removal conversation, am I only one, who doesn't even try to remove cobra from your back, when I play?

That thing is ugly as ****!  I take it off every match, even if I'm a a Jugg or something and have to walk to a ladder real slow.  Even if it comes back mid-match because I grabbed the pizza.  It seriously bothers me, especially on certain characters like Krogans, where it hinders a bit of my view.

 

For the record, I use Up on D-pad, then hold X and immediately hold B (Xbox).  It's easier than using the Dpad twice (Dpad sucks balls).  If I need a ladder I do the same thing but replace the B button with the ladder climb (which can be cancelled if you grab the ladder and back away quickly to save time).

 

If I am a Krogan, Quarian, Salarian, etc. and there is no ladder (Jade, London, Glacier, Hydra), then I am a sad, sad man.  I won't rage quit though

^ Yeah, it really sucks not all maps have a ladder in them just because that Cobra sticks out so bad on characters that can't remove it with heavy melee. Otherwise there no need for ladders in this game, outside of catching on host phantoms on it, of course.

I guess it's my thing then. I just concentrate on enemies, not what's on my back. And if my concentration waver and eyes wander, it's not because of cobra on back as my gaze go lower. Tends to happen for time to time with certain female characters like asari and Quarians. They can be distracting.

 

On topic, there one thing I barely see. Fury's, who actually use annihilation fields. I can count all the cases I have seen with one hand.

What makes this more baffling is that I do see Valkyries using annihilation field, but no Fury's.

 One of my favorite builds is the Huntress with the Krysae.. I wish I could say I am bringing it back..but how old is that saying? ...Seriously..Huntress Krysae with Incid ammo is stupidly, hilariously fun..  It still wrecks spawns...

 

I never really 'got' the Krysae when it came out, then after it got nerfed into the dirt I figured why bother. I imagine a lot of others thought the same, since I almost never see it.

 

At least the poor gun still has a few fans out there keeping it alive.

Yeah. Those that can hide the missile launcher with 5-5-F are:

 

HA, HSol, HSent, Novaguard (of the vanilla humans, the HE and the HI need a ladder) and the BF3 Soldier, all Drell, all Asari, the Smashbros, all N7s - Fury, Paladin, Slayer, Shadow, Demogirl except the poor Destroyer, who is discriminated against here - all Batarians, all Vorcha, the ACA, all Turians, and all Geth except the Jugg. I make that 41 out of 65, but it's Sunday afternoon so you can't rely on my arithmetic.

You reminded me of this and it made my day, and possibly my week.  Forgot how much I enjoyed this video.

 

 

On topic:  I wasn't recording, but the other night I somehow got locked in place while trying to do a Fury dodge at the same time a Banshee swiped at me.  Somehow it took away all my movement abilities.  The only thing that still worked was sprinting in place, and I could aim while doing that, but not otherwise.  I could still use all my abilities, so I just kept my AF on and when enemies came near I blew them up.  I had to finish the game from like wave 7 on like this.  Embarassing.
