Do I need to will not bring problems having hundreds of mods on your game?

Mods = here I mean files that enhance game play like Kaedrins pack

Modules = a self contained module or story. 

 

To play most modules you need to have the OC SoZ and MoTB installed. The mod will have it's own files and you should be told how to install them. 

 

When you are done with the mod you can delete the files and all will still be well. You do not need all of the mods installed available to play any one of them. In fact it's better only to install the files associated with a module to ensure they run properly.

 

There is a lot of content out there that improves the game (or not in some cases) you do not need any of that content to run the basis game or a mod. Most mods will come with everything they need packed up in it or a link on where to get any additional files required.

That basically means that you need to have the OC and XP1 installed in order to play it.

 

OC = Original campaign, the NWN2 game, and XP1 = Expansion 1, Mask of the Betrayer.

 

That's all it means. If they ever say that you need a mod, like Kaedrin's pack, it is something you'll need to install extra. Something the modder didn't implement to save you some trouble . But OC and XP1, or OC and both expansion mean you just need to have the game.

Those are tags. Clicking the tag gives you a list of other vault entries that have the same tag. It's not necessary to install them.

I see what you mean;  by clicking on the link you het a long list of mods. You don't need any of these to play the game.
