I need help getting the "inquisitor joins the jennies" ending from trespasser. I've played it through twice, and neither time did I get the cutscene where Sera invites the inquisitor to become a red jenny. The first time I thought maybe my approval wasn't high enough (although she treated me like a good friend and I had all the notes in both of her journals that indicated she held my quizzie in high regard).

But my second playthrough was a sera romance, and I still didn't trigger the scene. We got married, and then that was it, and at the ending slideshow it said that we traveled the world together, etc. etc., but no red jennies. I've tried googling the problem, but come up with nothing. Is this perhaps a known bug, or do I have to have like 100% approval (she never disapproves of any of my decisions. Like, even in my romance version, she still didn't like some of my decisions, such as to keep the grey wardens around).

Anyone know of any solutions, or had this problem as well?

You had to have spent time with Sera on the roof of Skyhold in the main game, eating cookies. In Trespasser your Inquisitor will then refer to pranks and cookies during the cutscene, then you meet Charade and join.

If you did do all that, Trespasser tends to carry over save files poorly and something was most likely lost in the transfer.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think she may offer the Red Jenny position only if you've eaten cookies and you have no other plans due to romances or other post-game stuff. For example, my Solasmancer joined the Jennies. Obviously she can't go on adventures with her LI post-game, so Sera offered her a fallback plan.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sera's romance ending supercedes the Jennies. In other words, the inquisitor's post-game path is already accounted for, they can't join because they're already doing something else.

I became a Red Jenny with a romanced Bull who plans to marry me. Not sure if it works with a married Cullen though.

Played Cullen, Solas, Bull and Blackwall romance. Every time Sera asked me to join Red Jenny.

From what I gathered she doesn't ask Quizzy she romances.

Hmm, I can't remember if I had the cookies scene in the first playthrough. All right, headed into another playthrough, I'll make sure I'll get the cookies scene, and then see how it turns out. Thank you!

This is correct with regarding a romanced Sera. You don't get to become a Jenny. You get the proposal of marriage instead and she stays with you.

Very much this. You can romance others but not Sera herself.

You only meet Charade if you completed Red Jenny and the Tantervale Charade, by the way. If you completed Red Jenny and the Imposters instead, you meet Johi, a Jenny from Nevarra.

Never happened. I had that bad save glitch. I got her twice though I did 2 different PT's.  <_<

I had high approval with her, didn't romance her, got the roof/cookies scene and still didn't get the red Jenny ending. Weirdly, she's the only companion that didn't seem to have much of a cut scene catch up at the palace for me. :(

Did you complete A Trouble of Red Jennies at the war table, and the subsequent missions Red Jenny and the Tantervale Charade or Red Jenny and the Imposters? If meeting Charade or Johi during the scene where she recruits you for the Jennies is dependant on those missions, you might need to complete them in order to trigger that conversation. Might be you even need to complete all of her Jenny missions to get her interested in recruiting you. (just a theory, to be clear, I always clear out the war table so I don't have a save with her missions chain not completed to test it on)

Got offer to join Jennies but I didn't see Johi or Charade? weird. Is that supposed to be the person who kneels next to Sera when she offers, because I chose Johi a male jenny and a female was in the scene, was that a glitch?.
