You know, at first I misread the title and thought the title was "DA's Ideal Moniker", as in Dragon Age: Revolution, Dragon Age: Reformation, Dragon Age: Invasion, Dragon Age: Emigration, Dragon Age: Armageddon, etc, etc, etc....
Anyway...
1. Return of multiple player races.
We've already got in Inquisition, so I doubt they'll take it away again
2. Return of origins. Really need to start our characters in different spots from each other.
I always thought that Origins' short prologues were overhyped tutorials. But I did appreciate the fact that the protagonists' origins were referenced in the main game (mage Warden got specific interaction with Greagoir and Irving, Cousland Warden could settle the score with Howe, etc...)
3. Better and more hairstyles in the CC.
Meeeeeeh, I hope they don't waste too much resources in the Character Creator: we don't need a next-gen White Knight Chronicles
4. Return of a Dalish elf protagonist. (Alongside the choice of a city elf one, so you can't lambaste me for that one )
Actually, I suspect that no Dalish protagonist will be available next time: I think I remember that Dalish avoid Tevinter for very obvious reasons, So we may get a city-elf only this time (hey, that will balance things out)
5. The option to be more evil/ruthless/self-serving. The Inquisitor was too much of a canon goody-two-shoes.
While we're at it, I hope that the selfish choices are not of the stupid-evil variety: no Dark-Side/Closed-Fist ridiculously moronic choices this time, I hope
6. Get rid of ENTIRELY the race-gated armor. That was bullshit -___-
Didn't care much about it.
7. Make mounts more useful. Way too slow, got around faster just walking.
Didn't care much about mounts being too slow (although I suspect it had something to do with trouble in loading areas fast enough). My main peeve is that the Hissing Wastes was the only region where the mount was somewhat useful.
8. Irish voice actor and actress for the protag.
I've got no dog in that fight
9. Return of blood-magic.
Probably a foregone conclusion given the location baited at Trespasser's end
10. More "casual" romances than DAI. There was only that one Orlesian lady and you couldn't even see her face :/
Frankly, pornomancing in Origins' wasn't that interesting, plotwise
11. Cities and villages.
More importantly: bring back the template used for Denerim and Athkatla: the general map + subzone structure is the best to give players the feeling that they are exploring a large metropolis.
Also, get the scales right: if as I suspect Minrathous is supposed to be inspired by the Byzantine Constantinople and by Rome, get their size and population right: the Byzantine Constantinople covered around 3.200 acres and had a population of half a million people, Rome covered a surface of approximately 3.500 acres and had somewhere between 800.000 and 1,2 million inhabitants. If Minrathous is made to look like, say, Valletta, there's going to be a problem.
12. Large scale battles and sieges.
Depends: as much as I love the Suikoden series, only the fifth episode had interesting army battles, and there's a reason for that: since army battles were short segments, most resources went into developing the classical RPG segments. The same thing is likely to happen here: Bioware will have limited resources and developing a full fledged tactical game in addition to the main RPG may not be possible.
Or they could simply have a couple of heavily scripted battle sequences when the characters are troops on the ground, like the battles of Haven, at Adamant and in the Arbor Wilds. Could be done.

Now that you are talking abut VAs....can we have an Aussie pleaaassseee?
Come one: you know you'll get Claudia Black, again
