Okay, I have a single, extremely trivial (it doesn't affect the game or the story) pet peeve that I've wanted to share. Every time it occurs in the game, I clench my teeth in frustration. It's this.

For some reason, everyone in the game walks like they are either a 1) gorilla, or 2) are experiencing severe stomach cramps. In other words, they are hunched over, their shoulder rounded. Dorian, as he walks away from his father, demonstrates this, but everyone else seems to have the same issue from my Inquisitor down to the grunts. I want to scream STAND UP STRAIGHT!  (Told you it was trivial.)

So what about you?  What is your single, most trivial, most annoying pet peeve about the game.

Remember:

1. It must be trivial.

2. It must annoy the heck out of you whenever it happens, and,

3. If you can think of one, give an example.

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

My Inquisitor seems to be an idiot even when it's obvious or right in front of her face.

Example? Solas removes her markings, she sees Fen'Harel doing it in the murals and doesn't piece it together. She just remarks on him telling her that he knows the truth behind their meaning.

One of the random battle cries that NPC humans have sounds like 'BLEEEEEEEEEEH' and it annoys me every time I hear it.

Definitely the tutorial info boxes you can't ever ever skip. Yes, I know how to apply my skill points. Leave me alone. Don't ever come back again.

Also, I HATE the part during In Hushed Whispers where Dorian and some of the companions go like 'We have to be careful! Let's flank them this will totally be to our advantage! X-D' and then the whole room is aggro'd before they even finished their sentence because they just stormed in there.

A trivial annoyance for me is when... the Inquisitor developed a pot belly when dishing out a judgment.

Edit: Also, it's annoying when the requisition officer saunters over to the Inquisitor to interrupt party banter <_<

Both of these so much.  I'm playing this on nightmare, Bioware.  I don't need my hand held all the time!

My Inquisitors enjoy a good beer or two. Or three or four or... So this is a thing I actually like.  :bandit:
But I do see how this could be annoying.

And then, you are going into the menu where you equip the potions. And they want to teach you how to do it. And you have to hit the OK I KNOW I KNOW button a thousand times. Literally a thousand times... literally............

yeah tbh that annoys me too it's like I know how to do this already I've already gone through it 4 times in beating the game. I'm playing it again to see a different result I don't need to be told how to spend points again because I've done it already. They should have kept an option in to turn that off. Yes it's good for the first playthrough but once you've been through the game once you don't really need them again. It's the only part of the game that does annoy me though

The way your party are incapable of standing still!! I'm trying to have a conversation and they're running in every direction, hopping on top of things, skidding to a stop, starting up again... -_-

They made armors and clothing look wonderful in this game, yet insist on putting the ugliest armor on the Inquisition soldiers in the ugliest color scheme possible (in Multiplayer they actually look decent in blue or other colors without the dumb helmet) while giving random bandits better looking outfits.

Mine branches off of this one: It's obvious that they just used the same walk animation for both male and female Inquisitors in almost all cutscenes; I loathe seeing my female Quiz swagger around like she's got a stiff back and a loaded diaper.

Much like many other games, when one has expended perks, skills, etc to gain the ability to Open Locks, there are always locks that require keys. Magical locks are understandable, but mundane mechanisms should be able to be picked, broken, or perhaps allowed to be opened via combinations (eg; Frozen; Bashed).

And I loathe that Companions do what I indicate, but not as I meant. Yes; attack that archer, but do not move to do it! :D

^ that.

I can ignore pretty much everything else, but the ape walk that female Inquisitors get on custcenes because they're clearly just using the male animation gets me every single time. Those first cutscenes in Haven are the worst, Cassandra's right beside you walking perfectly well... and your IQ has to skulk around like a gorilla who just pooped her pants.

I don't even want that exaggerated sashaying runway catwalk the female NPCs do, I just wanted my Inquisitor to walk like a normal person.

I hate that and the werid head lift thing the Inquisitor does.  The one that always makes it look they're giving the person they're speaking to the 'WTF' face.  I thought it was just because I was a Lavellan and she's shorter than everyone except Varric but my Adaar does it too and the only person bigger than her is Bull.

I had a hard time figuring out why my Lavellan was walking so oddly in her final romance scene with Solas and realised it was one of the first times I'd actually seen her use the female walk animation in a cutscene...

I hate it when romance scenes are not well animated. For example, when Solas hugged Lavellan after the Winter palace quest, he punches through her chest. -_- And then, in the last romance scene in Trespasser, Lavellan puckers up her lips to kiss him. -_- I mean, she was in a lot of pain and heard a lot of ****. It was so immersion breaking for her to pucker up her lips like it's an everyday kiss.
