Mine would have to be finding operations to build bridges and having to warp back to Skyhold, go to the war room, assign an advisor, then warp back to whatever map I was on. That really takes me out of whatever I'm doing on those given maps.

Would have been nice to have some of Leliana's messenger birds at some place on those maps where you could send the order to them or something. Then a fade to black screen and it's completed without me having to leave.

Nothing major, just annoying. *sigh* Plus the few maps that have no merchants, like the Fallow Mire, where I either have to drop stuff or leave. The environments are gorgeous and I really immerse myself in what I'm doing. Sucks having to stop and leave for something that takes a minute to complete.

*dives back into her 8 or 9th playthrough*

Not a fan of shopping hauls either, but it does allow for a greater use of the Black Emporium DLC.

But as for the bridges and other construction projects, for me returning to the War Table gives a deeper sense of immersion to simulate an active job as opposed to simply having the construction appear overnight as it were. Plus, I enjoy RP'ing the interaction with the Advisors; selecting the idea that best suits the choice of the PC.

xD I guess I just think of it irl terms. Your team is off on an important mission, walking/riding for days...possibly a week or so and now you have to travel back all that way just to request a bridge be built. Like in the Exalted plains: I could have gotten a boat or swam across in the time it takes to go back to Skyhold.

To me it would make more logical sense if the advisors sent someone with you on standby just in case. You could still choose who to send the message to and it would have shown more ground support for you or whatever in a sense.

Like that those operations exist but would have preferred not leaving, sending an order and maybe a timer while I finished other tasks.

I get that it's supposed to be a metaphor, but seriously? "One day soon the dawn will come." No. Dawn happens every day outside of polar regions! Erm, and caves, I suppose.

Gameplay-wise it's got to be that quicksaving and quickloading doesn't keep you in the same spot. I thought I'd be clever and quicksave after every successful jump up that one mountain (in the Hinterlands, I think?) to get a shard, you know, to be able to quickload if I fell off. Had to start again from the bottom anyway.

And after you clear the ramparts, the endless symphony of;

"Can't wait to get back in the fight, can't wait to get back in the fight, can't wait to get back in the fight..."

Leliana was right... Orlais, why did we save it?

Even worse, when they keep "Can't wait to get back in the fight, can't wait to get back in the fight..." and I'm fighting some demons right in front of them. If they're so eager for a fight, WHY THEY NO FIGHT THE RAGE DEMON!? Sorry, got some rage on me. I'm good now

Wearing the beige pjs during the Inquisitor's crowning when he/she first arrives in Skyhold. I wish there was an option to change into a nicer outfit for that big moment.

This is what I was wearing (the middle one) :)

I know the song is supposed to raise everyone's spirits after the defeat at Haven, but sometimes going through that scene makes me wonder why we don't get some kind of renegade interrupt from the Inquisitor to make them cut that right out;

"Can you people please not sing? I know this is supposed to be uplifting, but you just said there might be a giant dragon and his darkspawn master still looking for us! The noise might attract him! Or cause an avalanche! Either of which could mean the death of us all... and I'd rather that not happen, just because you all decided you wanted to get your Kumbaya's on!"

There in the middle of a snowy wasteland with tons of campfires xD If Cory wanted to snag everyone up he'd know exactly where the camp is even without the singing.

Corypheus could have crushed them, even killed them in a pinch,

But unfortunately he was waylaid by the presence of the Grinch.

Both were ready to crush them, both were wearing bibs,

But both in turn did squabble, over who had first called dibs.

(Okay... I really do not know why I just did that?)

Does Cullen’s mere presence count as a pet peeve? ‘Cause if not then it’s the sing along after Haven.

Yeah, it could have been "And very soon, the dawn will come." That one bugs me as well, just not as much as the gorilla walk.

Not putting a fast-travel point inside the crafting room. I have to go through one loading screen to travel to the throne room, and then another loading screen to get through the door. And why did the crafting room need its own loading screen, anyway? You can use the crafting apparatus in the various keeps you capture without going through a loading screen.

Crafting itself could stand to be a lot less tedious, too. You're always jumping in and out of menus, and running here and there, to do the simplest things. Would've been better if all crafting was done at a single bench, and you could compare the weapon you're thinking about making with the weapon you currently have equipped without having to exit and check your inventory to refresh your memory.

If the Keep stuff hadn't been completely stripped out of the game then maybe we would've had access to the War Table in each area with a Keep.  That would've been much better than having to leave the area all the time.

Urrrrrrrgh.  Those guys.  STOP TALKING ABOUT THE FIGHT AND FIGHT THIS THING.

And that outfit mod is my favourite for humans (although I use the version in the blue with a sash).

Another one: What was the point of the conversation with Mother Giselle at the beginning of Trespasser where she asks you what you want to have happen regarding the Inquisition's future? Why can I tell her "Yeah, I think the Inquisition needs to be disbanded" (and my main Inquisitor would have been saying this constantly during the timeskip) while all the advisors continue to behave as though the Inquisitor of course wants the Inquisition to continue? It made the conflict with Teagan extremely frustrating for me. No, Teagan, I get it. I get it completely. Josephine asking "I defended the Inquisition, and for what?" as though she were personally betrayed made me actually tell my screen "I don't know, Josephine. I never asked for this."

Two more very small ones that I remembered now that I'm doing my "canon" playthrough:

  • There is no Dalish decor, but having bought all DLC, I have access to two varieties of Avvar.  Moreover, since there are Dalish banners, heraldry, and drapery, my OCD self can't decorate the whole thing in one style :P
  • Carroll the Red Templar - the same Templar who refuses to ferry you across Lake Calenhad to the mage tower in Origins - does not drop a loot item of "papers proving he's the queen of Antiva" when killed.  Nor can be bribed with cookies. :D

The lack of Dalish décor is a huge oversight given how many Dalish assets are in the game.

My inventory filling up. I tend to play kleptomaniac heroes, and several times I've had to interrupt an adventure so I can drag my loot to a store.

A load screen allows the throne, draperies, and decor time to materialize after you change them in the undercroft.

I've remembered another one:

The delayed specialisation trainer's entrance scene.

So, I unlock the specialisation trainer quest as soon as I get to Skyhold via the Wartable. I speak to the trainers, complete the specialisation requisition and progress the story through Adamant/Orlais.

Then after the Arbor Wilds quest, these three trainers unexpectedly arrive at Skyhold. <_<

A few things that slightly bothered me;

- The difference in Alistair's appearance. It wasn't even close!

- The Inquisition itself was too religious.

- Side quests that involved finding lost possessions or missing people.

- When the inquisition says "what's going on here?" in two different ways.

- There was no back story for the inquisitor.

* Could be worse; could be Bann Teagan.
* The religious nature of the Inquisition is a major theme; would be all but impossible to separate it from the story.
* The back story is provided outside the game on the Official site for those wanting to know before gameplay, and replicated in Codex entries within the game itself.

Trivial but yeah, the hair, it bothers me probably more than it should.  Every hair option is f-ugly.  Also the gals, strong women?  Fine, you accomplished that but do strong women have to be masculine and unattractive?  I have seen, in person, 2 bald women in my entire life, I have seen dozens in Thedas.
