Your SINGLE most trivial, most annoying pet peeve about the game.

The joint mapping of jump and other actions to a single button.
THIS
They made armors and clothing look wonderful in this game, yet insist on putting the ugliest armor on the Inquisition soldiers in the ugliest color scheme possible (in Multiplayer they actually look decent in blue or other colors without the dumb helmet) while giving random bandits better looking outfits.
ALSO THIS
Mine branches off of this one: It's obvious that they just used the same walk animation for both male and female Inquisitors in almost all cutscenes; I loathe seeing my female Quiz swagger around like she's got a stiff back and a loaded diaper.
Believe me it does not look great on a male elf, either. They basically mapped it for human male and gave it to everyone else. My Lavellan walks like he has 50 pound balls hanging between his legs.
I had a hard time figuring out why my Lavellan was walking so oddly in her final romance scene with Solas and realised it was one of the first times I'd actually seen her use the female walk animation in a cutscene...
OMG THANK YOU for making me realize why I love that little scene so much! Alin is finally walking normally - in a way that suits his body size/skeletal structure.

Edit: Also, it's annoying when the requisition officer saunters over to the Inquisitor to interrupt party banter
- Your Worship.
- Inquisitah.
- Nothing to report, ser.
There's a mod for disabling chanters, "should we look around?", and "nice place to camp". Here's hoping for something for the requisition officer to come up soon.

^ that.
I can ignore pretty much everything else, but the ape walk that female Inquisitors get on custcenes because they're clearly just using the male animation gets me every single time. Those first cutscenes in Haven are the worst, Cassandra's right beside you walking perfectly well... and your IQ has to skulk around like a gorilla who just pooped her pants.
I don't even want that exaggerated sashaying runway catwalk the female NPCs do, I just wanted my Inquisitor to walk like a normal person.
This is exactly what I was going to say. (No, I don't stalk you around the forums.
(Except for sometimes.)) But yeah, that first cutscene when my noble-born Inquisitor is walking with Cassandra who has this beautiful hip sway and I'm just hunching along beside her and whining about my magic hand.

Just before my IQ goes through the door to harvest his "crop" of 6 plants, some NPC says "Inquisitor" in such a monotone voice. I HATE it every time it happens and want to annihilate the person but also hate that something that petty can bother me so much.

(BTW, since we can only put one thing, I had to like most of the posts here because really there are SOOOOOOOOOO many petty things that bug me). ![]()

Being forced to stop moving every time a banter begins because I'm afraid I'll accidentally activate an event that will silence the ongoing banter. That has been annoying me since Origins
I hate waiting ages for the banter to trigger and when it does accidently moving in range of the Requisition Officer.

Not only does the lady Inquisitor walk like a man during some cutscenes, she sits like one too. All hunched over with a hand resting on her knee.

Sometimes I think it's sort of funny, like the first Sit in Judgment. My IQ had her leg crossed at the knee and was leaning on her hand just looking at that Avaar like, "This is the weirdest thing that's ever happened."

See sig.
Even with a body mod it takes an enormous amount of willpower for me to play my male Lavellan. How such a horrendous animation glitch has been allowed to stay in the game floors me. Not to mention that animation glitch with Solas' balcony scene.
What, did they fire all the animators after release or something? Knowing EA, this would not surprise me in the least.

The walking, it's kinda hard to understand why a military man like Cullen walks like a 90 year old.
How when your a Dalish elf everyone acts like you have know idea what "gods" you worship?
How race is a big issue for everyone except you, racial tensions are a core construct of the lore in DA, other than the occasional off color remark about it for levity's sake, no one cares and they follow into hell and back.
The cut scenes, why is Cass cutting into me half the time, why is my hand floating right before I wake up in the cabin, why does my hand go through my leg when I am talking to Josie?
As previously mentioned how my inquisitor has to be dumb, blind, and ignorant to the ways of all things elfy if you are romancing Solas and not realize something is just a little off.
How in most cases trivial NPCs are hotter and more interesting than you inner circle.

Fracking fetch quests!
--No, wait.
That obnoxious Druffolo escort quest. I had to escort that slow arse "likes to head towards the Fade rift that is soooo out of my power range" Druffolo waaaay too many times. I'd skip the darn quest, but I have other quests to do in the area, and I feel obligated to take her the rest of the way when she starts following me!
CURSES!

Top of the list is being able to kill the entirety of my dalish clan through wartable missions and then have no option to speak about it to my companions or advisors. If you're going to introduce a weighty choice like that, at least allow for a short line of dialogue about it.
I think in general, though, the cutscenes are of really poor quality. Forced 30FPS makes them look like a stop-motion film and introduces these horribly long pauses. The gestures and poses often seem quite awkward and inhuman in comparison to Origins or DA2 (it's amazing how much less uncanny valley Origins is because of it, despite the 'dated' graphics). And then there is, of course, the famous scarecrow bug where every companion's arms stick out and their feet drag along the ground. Really killed immersion for me, on multiple occasions.
Not only does the lady Inquisitor walk like a man during some cutscenes, she sits like one too. All hunched over with a hand resting on her knee.

They map male animations on every character regardless of gender during cutscenes. It's bloody annoying. If you're going to waste time on gendered animations then at least map them correctly.

When playing as an archer, the baddies who are archers can shoot me with their bow from a distance, but I can't hit them since I'm out of range and have to get closer
5 minutes after recruiting Sera, I can tell her to leave the Inquisition. Why can't that happen for the other companions?
