In the "Dawn will come" scene, where Leliana sits next to Josephine on the ground, her legs go straight through her armor, and the armor kinda goes down into the ground. You know, it's actually the strange things the clothes do in general. Two examples below.

Spoiler

Buargh.

Cullen is still broken in The Dawn Will Come scene. Can't lift his head anymore when he sings.

If the Inquisitor is either a mage or 2H warrior and they're sitting down with large weapons strapped to their backs. Can they just set aside their staff or great sword against the wall, then take a seat?

Trying to read the closing slides after Trespasser... MUST.TAKE.SPEEDREADING. CLASS.

The new patch just fixed this issue.

How about the Inquisitor having almost no facial expressions; when he/she does, it stays stuck like that for the remainder of the conversations.

Thanks Bioware for the Kristen Stewart Inquisitor.

Look.. wrinkles are a thing and having an expression causes wrinkles.  :D

The fact that the hold/wait action doesn't work 99% of the time

If you're on PC, (I haven't tried it on console since I figured this out.), If you go to tactical, and THEN put them on hold, they hold better. You know that darned puzzle with the arrow-shooting statue, that's where I finally figured it out. Plus in tactical, you can actually see if they are on hold. In real time? Forget it.

I have to say, I've been reading some of the responses and laughing my a** off!

I particularly loved the headless soldiers practicing at Haven, and this:

"Follow yourself, Solas, so you don't lose yourself. Then you'll have to go find yourself."

Made my day.

I missed one of the Bottles of Thedas on my current play through. At first I was like, nuh uh, not going to look for it. But, it bugs me. So I looked up a guide that gave the names and locations of each bottle and ran down to the cellar to try to match up my bottles. I can't. I'm on the PS4 and there's no way to see all the names on the bottles unless you stand upside down on the barrels or something to get into the correct position for the name to appear. I try to tell myself that by the time DA4 rolls around I won't remember that one bottle that I missed. Hell, I should forget by next week. But, I won't. It will haunt me and on my death bed I'll say, "My only regret was not finding that last Bottle of Thedas."

This could be the beginning of a novel! Love it.

The loading screens that give you 5 seconds to read the interesting codex entries and then 30 seconds of staring at a black screen.

. . . gee, thanks  <_<

Well, technically, they only show codexes you've discovered.

True, but it still beats staring at a black screen

The animation of gathering / harvesting / picking up stuff. It annoys me in a way that cannot quite be articulated. It looks stupid to me. It takes away about 5 seconds of my time that I will never get back which I normally should not care about but I do. I really do care.

Upgraded twice in the last patch; faster animation, plus another increase in speed if a Harvesting perk is taken.

Kinda think this was on purpose, though? That cheesy face Cullen used to make in that scene was mocked a lot early on, they stealth changed it to a more reserved pose in one of the latest patches and never mentioned it... I think they just "fixed" it so he doesn't look so weird anymore, but didn't wanna make a whole thing out of it.

LOL that's a shame, because after romancing him and seeing him more unguarded, that's really how Cullen would be. This "fixed" Cullen looks like a kicked puppy who was told he was going to be neutered tomorrow.

But Cole is broken too in his personal quest. He can't lift his head as he talks of the real Cole and he used to do that. All I see now is his hat.

Pet hate: having to switch to an appropriate character to open locks/bash doors/magicaly do whatever energise is. I should be able to click on the thing with whatever character I am playing and one of my teammates that can use it should do so automatically. Made wore by the fact that your party members are perfectly happy to say things like "I can do that". Well then do it. Don't just stand there and make me go through the hassle of swicthing characters and clicking on it again.

Yes, it's trivial. But it bugs me.

PREACH! And the fact that you need a rogue to open locks. I have Iron Bull with me. He has horns. Ram that door! I'm a mage that summons the power of the fade. Blast it to smithereens!

The armor. Specifically how all the standalone pieces are weaker than the modular inquisition gear.

Hell, the fact that nearly every build requires you to wear the Prowler "Cheap buttler tailcoat" armor because everything requires critical hits so you need that leather utility..

Course, I just wear the Gryphon mail. Only 13 vs 27 utility but it looks a hell of a lot better.

If we're going there, I really shouldn't have to cart a mage around (taking valuable party space!) just to fix some stupid bridges with some mystical arcane telekinesis - I have three beefy, strong and capable warriors with me, they can fix the damn bridge, or even just throw a plank over it for me.

1. I miss all the conversations being zoomed in shot reverse shot situations. I guess they didn't want to animate all the conversations, but it is a real disappointment after all the other Bioware games I've played. Also while zoomed out I have to move the camera around, so I can hear everything clearly.

2. Companions disappear when you get on a mount. I like to hear banter, so I've hardly used my mounts. Would it have been that hard to give every companion a mount too? I guess so. In DA4 maybe...

3. Solas' stupid clipping helmet/mask at Halamshiral. I know there is a mod...but it still peeves me...almost put it as number 1. The Solasmance got so little content, and then they had to ruin the dancing scene with that stupid hat. It's like no one play tested it.

This is probably indicative of OCD issues, but I hate that you can't unlock every codex in a playthrough. The unlocked cards mock me.

But there's a missed codices store in Val Royeaux....

Biggest pet peeve would be the extra, superfluous 1-15 additional clicks required to do simple menu navigation. If you want to travel to a location on the map, first you click the location to center it on the map, then you click to go there, but, no, now you must click "OK" to, you know, actually go there. If you need to choose companions, it's not just 1-2-3 because it's on a rotating dial, so you have to click all the way over to one companion, then over to another. And if you don't pick 3, you have to click the "yes, I'm old enough to go without a full party now, Mommy" button. If you want to navigate inventory you have to keep clicking "Back" in and out of each category. If you want to reduce the GUI to take a full-screen screenshot, it's no longer a single hotkey but a trek of clicks through the menus to change a setting and return to the main screen (then back in again to restore the GUI). If you want to get an active quest to stop showing on the main screen you can't just click one thing to toggle quests showing or not showing: you have to keep hunting down each new quest that comes up because they get auto-selected as your active quest as soon as a new one arrives. On and on like this... Not a game-breaker, just a recurring source of irritation.

Oh, and another one. There are a lot of clipping issues in the animations- pretty much don't care in the least except for one: Morrigan's hair on the right side. Over and over it clips as you're trying to listen to her- like trying to pay attention to what someone says while they're preparing to eat raw butter or swallow a goldfish in front of you. And the main thing is, it was Morrigan- not some random NPC #49. Where was the QA for a major NPC? And the other thing is- her hair moves. What about my hair! I want my hair to keep clipping on one side too!

How I have to press shift all the truckin time to keep my mounts galloping because the slightest dip in terrain upsets them.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK - Harts.

Also Morrigan's hair being the only one that moves. I WANT FLOWING TRESSES TOO, BIOWARE!

Sera's hair moves too. I liked how my Hawke's hair in DA2 moved with the breeze.

Several of mine have already been mentioned.  One that hasn't is: the fact that NPCs often move around when you're trying to talk to them. (Corporal Vale, Mayor Dedrick, Horsemaster Dennet, and a bunch of others do this.)  Often, when they get far enough away, the conversation will end prematurely.  So I end up having to follow them around to keep the conversation going.

STAND STILL, DAMMIT!!

Seriously, if I'm making conversation with an NPC, they should stop their wandering animations and stand still.
