I pre ordered ME3 and am still playing it. (Playing the Insanity level, it's the last badge I have to get) I have over 3000hrs on Multi player, so haven't been bothered that a new ME hadn't come out. They would bring it out eventually.

Cheers

That's what Bioware should have learned from Bethesda. Announce game when it's ready, not three years before release so all hype is dust after a year.

I can do without encouraging Bioware to be "more like Bethesda."

EAware marketing the game like Beth is not a bad thing though. It's a step up from what this company usually produces.

Bethesda went extreme on FO4 though. It's a month out and barely any info has been released. I know almost as much about MEA as I do fallout 4.

I kind of dig it. The game will be a surprise. I don't have the willpower to avoid info when stuff comes out a year in advance.

Yeah they did!
Bethesda didn't let a bit of info slip at all until e3.
how long have we been begging for them to just confirm they were even working on another game?

Well my friend just showed me the Witcher 3. I just finished Witcher 2 and replaying it again at dark difficulty then I'll jump to 3. So far the series is impressive graphics and voice acting is incredible

You want to talk about a series that has had barely any info revealed about it, but still has people talking try Cyberpunk 2077, CDPR's other franchise. W3 pushed that game back, and we've gotten no info about it since then.

At least with MEA we've got a date we're getting some new info.

Three years? Andromeda was announced four months ago.

They didn't start working on ME:A four months ago. Making an announcement trailer isn't the first thing to do when starting a new project.

Developers are usually reassigned to work on either the successor or another project as soon as the content creation process for the last project is finished, so that'd be the last time we got new content for ME3, i.e. April 2013 at the latest and it's not outlandish to think part of the team went straight to work on ME:A (and other parts to DAI and/or the new, still secret IP).

Just to put this into the room for people to consider.

Luckily I only started caring once DAI wrapped up.

Well, there WAS DA:I to tide us over the Wait.

Playing both Bioware IPs really helps with the wait. Once New IP comes along it'll be even easier. DA, then next year ME, then next year NIP, then next year DA,... ad infinitum.
