Not sure if this has been brought up already, but if ME:A implements multiplayer does anyone know if it will it require you to sign up for PS+ for ps4 users? Main reason why I never did DA:I multiplayer.

Yes, almost certainly. Pretty much anything that isn't an MMO requires a PS+ subscription for online gameplay.

Hard to say and to soon to know.
MANY IP's with MP release the maps as free DLC and to participate in basic MP there's no sub required.
So you can still play without having to pay.
But obviously there's going to be micro transactions for better gear, new classes, etc.

If I had to guess,
Id say MEA MP will be similar.
Download MP maps for free and start playing, no sub to PS+.
But if ya want better gear, new classes, etc you'll have to pay.

I'm not a PS+ sub'er but I download the maps and still play MP in many, many titles on PS4 without paying for anything.

Both consoles this time around requires either PS+ or XBL to access multiplayer for pretty much anything that isn't an MMO, only one that still have free console MP is the PS3 and that one is going to fade into obscurity sooner rather than later as far as game releases go.

can you do DA:I multiplayer? with all the multiplayer patches/updates installed if you have the game?

Like what? Because I remember people getting all bent out of shape when Bioware made the Dragon decor available to anyone who could kill a dragon in the multiplayer expansion. Cries of "but I'll have to pay for Playstation Plus/Xbox Live for a month" were fairly common.

I've never tried DAI MP admittedly, heard it was bad (?).
But KZ, BF4, CODG, WD's, are the last ones I played, older titles, but not very much, popped-in played a few rounds and that was it.
Although,
I'm not a big MP'er either, never have been, so it must be a new-ish (?) requirement that sony implemented after the ps4's release. Since all I did was download the MP maps of the games above and played, paid nada, zero.

Unless there's some huge incentive,
I'll not be sub'ing to PS+ and since I'm not a big MP'er I'm hardly ever online.

Sucks that sony is doing it,
But sony is the name of a mugger in a dark alley .

I have quite a few of the PS+ trial codes, and redeemed a couple once or twice as well as their music/vid apps before they were dumped or taken over by spotify(?) and I've played destiny for a bit, but wasn't drawn to it like other IP's though.

I haven't touched multiplayer on PC for da:I...yet. My comp isn't that great. Haven't done destiny mp either cuz well classes.
