So, from what I have observed, there are a number of schematics added to the game with Trespasser that can only be obtained from War table missions in the base game.

What I am wondering is if there is a way to obtain these schematics if you have already completed the missions pre Trespasser release without starting an entirely new playthrough.

Not in game AFAIK. If you're on PC you can download a save from the Nexus mod website and sync with the golden nug, its what I did. There's a guy who has provided saves with all schematics for every possible configuration of the game.

The only way I know of is either getting save from someone else or do what I did - open older saves and keep completing war table operations you know have schematics as rewards.

Bummer. You'd think they'd sync them to that little chest in the undercroft if you already completed them. Though this is bioware we are talking about.
