During the Dragon Age order all the Wars or Major Conflicts that has been presented to us in game overall in terms of gameplay, drama, story and impact. The list in order of events:

Fifth Blight(counts sence Darkspawn Horde is army)

Fereldan Civil War

Darkspawn Civil War

First Battle of Kirkwall

Mage-Templar War(Includes Kirkwall Rebellion)

War of the Lions(Orleasin Civil War)

War against the Elder One

My personal list:

1.Fifth Blight - Battle of Ostagar holds one of the series most memorable moments and Battle of Denerim is to me still the best interaction we had in a war from fighting alongside our entire party to even controlling which ever companion we put in control of B squad and making physically use of our allies. Even the short Battle of Redcliffe surved its purpose. The drama and build up from Ostagar to Denerim has yet to be redone better.

2.First Battle of Kirkwall - While not a full scale war and literally one battle its #2 for the moments and purpose it surved. Making use of much of Kirkwall was a good move and running into Templars, Wardens, and Circle Mages holding off the Qunari showed how urgent the battle was. Act 2 the shining moment of DA2 did a good build up to this that wasn't as rushed as most parts of the game. The killing of the viscount to the plot twist with Isabela and Duel with the Arishok or all out battle with him and his troops provided some moments to be remembered in the series. But the biggest purpose it surved was a glimpse of the Qunari Threat and eventually Qunari War.

3.War Against the Elder one - Putting all the pieces of this one together it was solid but had a chance of being #1 by a long shot. Starting from The Battle of Haven which was a strong start it didnt follow up as good as it could have. The Siege at Adamant was cool a boss battle there would have been nice though. But lack of presentation hurt the war overall. It was just stoping one plan after another without any visual that we really did anything. Lack of visuals with The Freeman of the Dales because they have a interesting arc that could have helped present this war and War of Lions better. To much codex basically. Arbor Wilds was fun but the fact Battle of Denerim was two games ago they should have pulled some pages from that book to make it feel like a battle and not a long quest. Had we been able to use our allies or even made a B team that would have spiced things up. But the Battle itself got overshadowed by the Ancient Elves. Really it was the final battle at the temple that brings this to #3 could have been at least two but the build hit a slope that just kept going.

4.Darkspawn Civil War - Could be higher but it was just a expansion so I understand but on that note, for a expansion it out did alot of the wars so far. It had some of if not the most Battles and a boss for each one. Right out the gate the Assault at Vigil's Keep gave it direct urgency. Unique enemies like Inferno Golem and task like breaking chains to kill all the broodmothers we knew what we were doing and we seen how it effected th other side. The fact we seen the sides fighting each other while we was a 3rd party in the war was cool. But its shining moment is its choices. No other war gave us the choices like this, from party members giving there opinion on situations and actually voicing if they wanted to take part in either defending the city or protecting the keep was well done. Having side quest to improve our keep for the coming battle while it did not have major changes visually like when you choose Mage or Templar tower in skyhold it provided story and drama to the war because it gave you a fighting chance to save both the keep and city. Even the ally with the enemy we dont really know choice helped define each Warden-Commander from the other. The pacing of course had to be fast because it wasnt a standalone but had this been its own full game and continued in this direction it would be no lower then #2.

5.Mage-Templar War - The only reason its not below the Fereldan Civil War is because the Kirkwall Rebellion. Kirkwall Rebellion was the start and best part of this conflict that we got to play. Ander's fireworks and the decision how to deal with him was some of the best drama in the series. The build was pretty much most of DA2 but Act 3 being the climax to starting the war was paced to fast but we all know that story. The final boss fight was the best battle of the war especially seeing surprise allies you gained helped you out. The choice of who to side with in both DA2 and DAI is one of the biggest dragon age debates. But sadly thanks to books and the breach rushing the plot it suffers what should have been some good action and scenes. The hinterlands provided the only battle ground we got to play post  Kirkwall and for a large scale Rebellion it suffered. Without using Asunder it just wasnt presented how it couldve been. And the boss fight with the leader did not feel like such. In fact the known leaders had no presence in-game Grand Enchanter gave up her power when we meet her and Knight-Vigilant is dead(have yet to meet the templar order leader in the series and they kill him when we get the chance off-screen). The Lord Seeker was doing other things and even still lack of unique faction clothes for both the Seekers and Promisers made no sense. Couldve been top 3 but it got watered down hence why I had to add Kirkwall just to give it some ground. In fairness I suppose the Conclave was suppose to be the peace talk ending of it but with not knowing what happen the war shouldve taken back off.

6.Fereldan Civil War - While low on the list its understandable this War needed to end quickly to focus on the Blight. But it had some awesome moments for the series. It having only one battle we fight in is why its so low but it makes up for it with the prison scene giving us options of escape or be rescued. Fighting off assassins twice which included a possible betrayel and the Landsmeet stuff was a nice testing the wars for politics ingame. It showed some evil sides of war we have not really experienced yet like a blood mage selling city elves into slavery to help financies, a blood mage almost killing a Arl to help sway nobles, the killing of a entire noble house(which gave us the most hated villain in the series Arl Howe). Even though finding ways to gain support in the Landsmeet lead to the same outcome it helped define each Warden. The possible loss of a close companion in favor for a misguided villain was some nice drama. I probably should have ranked this higher but either way its fine. Another big highlight was the cutscenes of the villains was we progressed something DA:I needed. A little check in update with Cory.

7.War of the Lions - unless we count fighting the Freeman which I dont this war suffered from should have read the book and the codexs display the war. This war will always be last to me and I hope Bioware does not do worse then this one. Freeman of the Dales had they been explored more it would have given a nice twist to the war. But it is not present at all in game all we see is a bunch of soliders that not only not fight each other but dont even help us fight the demons and undead. I understand peace talks was about to happen but that should have given two choices if you do winter palace first both sides are fighting each other after undead is taken care of or during in a three way fight or if you did do the winter palace then we could have had what we had only they help us fight undead. We did nothing in this war accept pick a ruler between 3 people who are worthy of being killed in there own right and we have to some how care about this decision to pick between the 3 or force them to work together or reunite two lovers we barely know or make someone a puppet. It needed the book to get the full story and in game did not present itself well enough to RP a reasonable choice. It was a quest built around either meta-gaming who you want to be divine or who you hated the least if you read the book. A quest designed for the player and not the Inquisitor because either way we got the same thing our army. The Quest was unique though being bulit around the game and the blackmail angle was the best part to me because I seen no reason to care about 3 npcs that were horrible people and ingame was not shown otherwise once I had all the blackmail stuff.

With The Qunari Invasion, Warden Conflict, and Solas and friends around the corner I hope that the best from each of the wars is taken and the mistake from each is learned. I like how each war is someone unique in there own way but hopefully they improve on there presentation because it seemed to have went down in this game. Please feel free to share the order of the conflicts that you have played. And if you did not play certain games list the ones you have.

Haven't looked it up in detail, but here's what I have so far. I found this while researching something unrelated (Anora's nameday month, if you must know).

In Inquisition, there is a landmark in Crestwood near the Chantry woman who is burning dead bodies. The landmark indicates the day Crestwood was flooded. It states that this happened 8th of Bloomingtide (5th month, Molioris) 9:30. The flood was because of the darkspawn and the blight. So Ostagar must have happened some time before the 5th month.

The human noble Origin talks about a tourney and Eleanor's spring salon. So it must be after the first day of spring. The 2nd month is Wintersend (winter's end), and it says tourneys are held in celebration of it, though it only mentions Tevinter for this practice. I think it's safe to conclude that Ferelden does this as well. But in any case, a local bann of Highever held a tourney in Duncan's honor.

Ser Jory participated in this tourney as well. He confirms that it was "last month" from when you speak to him in the party in Ostagar.

So from this I conclude that Ostagar takes place in the 3rd month (the tourney was in the 2nd month).

Also, all of Origins concludes by the start of the 12th month of 9:30. This is because the human noble male and Anora are married six months after the coronation. So if you count the 12th month as the 1st month to pass before the wedding, you end up at the 5th month of 9:31.

Why is this important? Because in Awakening you can possibly sentence Nathaniel Howe to death. If you do, Varel calls out the day, month, and year of Nathaniel's execution. It is the 17th day of the 6th month (Ferventis), 9:31 Dragon. That is around the time the Darkspawn Civil War is discovered, though the war logically began as the archdemon died and the darkspawn turned to the Mother.

I figure the Hero and Anora were married for a month before Awakening. That gives him time to rule at court before finally setting out. Awakening allows for opportunities to say you ruled at court. But it's also possible that you ruled at court since the coronation, so maybe you could move the end of Origins up to the end of the 12th month. Still, it seems more likely that the Hero and Anora were married for a little while. If you spared Loghain, he will comment that he talked to Anora about producing an heir. I kind of think Loghain would only bring this up after about a month. After the honeymoon phase?

But that's all I've got because that's all I've looked into. And if you're curious, I place Anora's nameday month as the 5th month, Bloomingtide (Molioris). Same month Crestwood was flooded. Eamon's letter states she approaches her 30th year. Ostagar takes place in the 3rd month. I think Eamon would have been more exact had her birth month been the next month. So making it the 5th month seems about right.

EDIT: Aaaaand now I realize this isn't what you were asking for. I thought you wanted the order of events, not our favorites. Sorry.

I guess my favorite is the one we were actually involved in during Origins. Everything else just seems like a backdrop.
