When I finished The Masked Empire, I wanted to throw the book across the room.  I would have except that it was on my tablet.

 

When finishing Trespasser, I felt the same way.  In my mind, I tossed it.  In reality, I value my PC too much.

 

With the same writer evoking the same reaction in two different situations - great at writing the con jobs/con men and bad at endings (in my opinion)- it occurred to me that perhaps Patrick Weekes just isn't for me.  Perhaps he's not for you either, David1977.  But before you let writing that is abrasive to your personality drive you one step further toward the bell tower, remind yourself that you can still try to create a good person in YOUR character even when surrounded by ******* characters of someone else's making.

 

I guess the cliche phrase is - don't lower yourself to their level - if doing so makes you wonder whether you're a bad person.

No, OP, it's a role playing game, so go ahead and do all that and have fun.

 

But sadly the teasing from pre release it's not possible in this game: you can't let all this "bad" world burn. You have to save it. Or you can do what I do, simply; don't play it. Bioware games are like an one way street lately (anyone remembers the two choices at least with Revan?). You may agree with the conclusions and choose to sacrifice your player character, or be upset, because despite all your best efforts... the world is always ungrateful. And your character can react only as a victim. Remember Hawke, the Warden, Shepard. Revan was a very long time ago...

Your grammar is atrocious.. Your spelling is even worse. Grab a goddamn dictionary or use spellcheck.. hell google is your friend! 

My only beef with Trespasser was that I could not punch Solas in the face when it says [Attack].. He deserved a punch to the face. Though I must say that last portion of the DLC was fun.. rift nuking everyone as your run a blow through op to kill Solas before the Qunari did. Well, that was the option that I took anyway.

It is not that hard to follow you. And no it does not make you a bad person. I felt kind of the same at the end of Trespasser. Seriously people slow down your reading for a second and you can make it through his sentence.

Well, David..I think they tried let to you only play as a good character. Not "Lawful" per say, but Neutral Good at worst. They didn't know how to implement it without all the characters deciding not to work with you.

I don't really like time jumps in games but it worked for this one. I'm sorry everyone is busting your balls but I understand where you're coming from.

David, Its best to always check google for spelling mistakes. Being Dyslexic myself i also find **** hard to spell, Come on peeps of Bioware Forums we are not all grammar gods like you lot. 

As for being evil, naw none are as evil as me. I stole a babies ice cream today and spat in an old guys face (I kid of course)

I have some questions. Are you trolling? Did you finish grade school? Are you mentally challenged? Have you had an accident resulting in brain damage? Have you abused drugs for 35 years? Has your parents abused drugs when you were conceived? Is English not your first language? I think that covers it.

It really isn't that hard to follow is it? Though I read a lot of poetry and favor writers who wipe their asses with Strunk and White when orthography is irrelevant or when they want to break the rules to make a point.  Maybe reading is easier for us for various reasons?

There's no harm in being an ass to fictional video game characters.  They're not real.  The only feelings there are programmed.  IMO, you'd only be a bad person if you were an ass to real people with real feelings.

Also, no one can force you to use acceptable grammar and punctuation if you're determined to be defiant about it. Conversely, you can't force anyone to take you seriously. It's your call.

Holy ****. Have you heard of these amazing things called periods? Also, It's "because" not however the **** you were spelling it. Also spand isn't a ****** word! "I" is capitalized when it's be itself! ****!

With Mass effect one....right after I tested what could happen with Shepard's stand off with Wrex and finding out Ashley could kill him ageist my orders, I made a play through where  I was a total **** to her.

That's raw man. Ashley has your back and you treat her like that?
