Wasn't that Leliana? She does bring up the fun of 'forbidden fruit' in the chantry. ![]()

Given the writers' general personality types, I wouldn't be surprised if they intentionally catered to the non-"cishetmale" fanbase.
But the number of potential romances is hardly an argument for saying the game is feminist. I mean, c'mon, no disabled characters? No real foil to the matriarchal injustice of the Chantry? NO BOOB SLIDER? Pffffft.
And the whole marriage thing makes sense: Cassandra's personality would make her very cautious and hesitant to enter a serious commitment like marriage. Romance is her dream, but when it faces reality she has a difficult time embracing it. And Dorian? Bishpls. It's hard enough for him to deal with the pressures of Tevinter's high society and the magisterium holding a sword at his back, he would want to keep his poor bby inquisitor away from all that, he's so protective. And marrying a heretical movement leader wouldn't be much in the way of showing support for his fellow countrymen, he KNOWS his culture.
Those bushy eye brows.. That buck teeth.. Those shaved hairstyles.. I mean, not only did the feminists force everybody into the role of female but.. They made them ugly too! Cause women aren't allowed to be attractive. That's why Cassandra looks like a man.. And Josephine is the adopted offspring of a tree and an alligator.. (or something)
Of course Cassandra isn't a pretty princess, but i am sure you aren't going to romance Cullen if he thinks every mage must be killed like Hitler, OH WAIT. Yeah, is better the appearance than the personality, for this i romanced Morrigan, she is a sexy bi*ch ![]()
Maybe you dont find Cassandra and Josephine "beautiful", but in Witcher 3 you has to choose between a bi*ch badass and a manipulative bi*ch. (But the two are hot)
(The women here are not really ugly)

I haven't romanced Sera yet, she's too much like my kid or a baby sister to me. Is the romance any good? My youngest really likes Sera but I have more free time to play and wants me to romance her on my next PC (a qunari lass because...wooof, Sera loves the Qunari ladies!). Since Sera is a rogue, I was thinking warrior. As a saarabas would be a bit much for Sera to accept seeing as she's no fan of magic. Does it make much of a difference to her what your class is?
If you really, really like hanging out with Sera as a friend, it may be difficult to change mental gears for the romance. Or at least that was my experience with it.
On the friendship path, I felt that our relationship was founded on a mutual appreciation of the ridiculous and a mutual desire to keep it light. She's the kind of friend who will get drunk and play basketball with you at 3am on the night before an important exam. She's the kind of friend who would commiserate over a failed relationship and she'd know to keep the ice cream coming, but don't badmouth the ex, because it'll be patched up in a week or so. In other words, friendship with her was fun. I expected romance with her to be fun, too... but it was a lot more work than it should have been. Her insecurities seemed to be front and center. The stuff she kept hidden - her loneliness and the need for something real - dominated the relationship, and the whole thing felt like one long series of hoops to jump through. It was brilliantly written, and it all felt so genuine... but it isn't for everyone. If you expect it to be all cookies and light-hearted pranks... it isn't like that.

Ask that sister in Haven... but don't be surprised if you find a "Bull was here" tattoo on her thigh.

If you're counting the Bi options then females get 6 romances and males get 4. Oh my, atrocious! 2 more romances!
Such a tragedy. They should have gone with the ME3 variant where there were 8 male romances and 3 female romances.
