Ha.. yes indeed..  Started playing with her again earlier this morning.  

 

I  actually really like the Avvar as well, but a little bit more on the promotions side would help with him I think.  I can start the Reaver in perilous very early, whereas it feels like the Avvar is a bit tougher to throw into perilous (for me and my promotes and equip) right away.

 

 

Shield Block is awesome!   It pretty much double your basic attack DPS with attack cancel and at the same time keeping you in full guard.  And with Flow of Battle, those faster basic attacks with crits are going to refresh your Shield Bash much faster, so you are like triple your DPS.

 

Yeah?  Will have to try it.

Depends on your definition of exp.....

Solo exp perhaps........ but exp per hour.....Silent Sister and especially Reaver can speed up your games and your overall exp in an evening

Re: speed...A good NM team can run FC, fight the faction, and promote in three completions (~45-55 mins).

Edit...depending on the charcter, tactics, and faction, a promote is possible in two FC NM runs.

I prefer 5 NM Chateau games 8min per in a team as it's more gold. 45min.

I'm so over that castle lol (soloing slayer achievement now and then in there)

Another point to note. You can promote in 3 Perilous FC games using 2 AW and 2 Keepers. Rotating 2 players at level 1 at any one time. 61000xp a game. 15min each game. 45min.

Something for players with friends to think about who can't clear NM quickly.

I have indeed done this. Including the latest list of all my promotions here.  I think it is curious that I have so many agent challenges completed but most of the remaining agents average around 15 missions completed each.

Arcane Warrior - 43

Reaver - 38

Avvar - 32

Keeper - 32

Legionnaire - 25

Elementalist - 22 (Need about fifty more missions to complete the 250 mission challenge)

Hunter - 13 (Only 87 missions completed)

Necromancer - 2

Duelist - 1

Katari - 1 

Virtuoso - 1

 

I played with the Katari a little bit, and I am not really that impressed.  I am thinking of just focusing on:

 

Constitution - Avvar and Reaver, with an occasional templar mixed in

 

Willpower - Actively finishing Elementalist, but will likely keep playing Elementalist and add in Saarebas.  Arcane warrior for when I promote the rest and want to keep running nightmare.

 

Cunning - Planning on playing the Duelist / Hunter.  With the silent sister again as a stand-by for NM when the rest are promoted back to level 1 and I want to keep running NM.

Focus on the silent sister though.. getting your cunning up a bit in balance will do wonders.
