I will get mass effect soon and I have several saves on my HD,
I intend to romance Miranda and in order to keep some RP continuation I wanted to know a bit more about her? Is she humanity first too? And racist?
As we are in a non spoiler forum please do not spoil to far.
Is Miranda a new Ashley?

But does she dislike aliens or not?
I mean is she ready for the ME KKK like Ash or more concilient?

Miranda is not against aliens in any way. She's just pro human as it is with Cerberus.
Ashley was scared of them in a way, Miranda is not.

Miranda shows no signs of dislike for aliens.
She shows a dislike for EVERYONE. Unless you make lovie dovie friends with her.
she's got an attitude against anyone who might risk the mission with cerberus. That includes both humans and aliens.
Some characters within the game refer to her as a ice queen or heartless ****.
I assure you she isn't a heartless **** though.

Wow, ash wasnt that bad. Her racism was mild at best. She was actually opposed to the terra firma party if i remember correctly. Miranda, being a cerberus loyalist is likely to be much more racist. But we'll just have to see.

Well in term of personality I would say Miranda an Aristocratic countess while Ashley would probably be out drinking beer with her pal and there also difference in term of storyline, but in a way they feel very similar role storyline-wise

She is spunky over the top I am the best thing since slice bread kind of person. That looks good doing it! You will get this gist of her with your first conversation with her!

I love Miranda, great character. Not to mention her voice actress is excellent, makes me want to rename my character Chuck.
And there is a story moment that will show some differences between her and Ashley.

she's fitter than Ash. This doesn't really help the conversation, but still, worth noting.

Ashley wasn't a racist, just pro-human and a bit distrustful of aliens. IE. she was just a normal human being.
Miranda seems to be somewhat alike Ash, but more sophisticated.. and more ****y towards everyone.

In a way, she is the new Ashley. She isn't really 'racist' but is pro-human.

She isn't nearly as annoying as Ashley was. Plus, the only evidence that she is a racist is the fact that she works with Cerberus. She doesn't seem to have any animosity towards the many aliens on the ship. Not from what I've seen, anyway.
Ashley's racism was obvious in her conversations and at that part where she does that one thing to Wrex. Are we allowed to post ME1 spoilers?

I don't think Cerberus is racist for the most part. If you walk around and talk to the crew in ME2 I think they're far less racist then the old crew. (Case in point your staff manager and Pressly for example). And I think Miranda explained that to you in her first convo once you get the ship.
Cerberus attitude would be more accuratly desciped as patriolism rather than racism I think, of course for what I seen so far.

I think higher of Miranda then I did of Ashley, I never really liked her. Miranda isn't bad, she has high standards, that's all. She's not pessimist like Ashley, always seeing the bad side of things.
Again, if I had to chose between Ashley or Miranda on Virmire, the answer is Miranda 100%, there is no difficult choice.

Miranda is really self confident/cocky, watch yourself with her. Ashley was not so much in the "all about me" thing.

Sorry for going a little off topic but I dont want to start a new thread on this.
In ME2, can you "accidentally" start a romance even when you don't want to like with Ash in ME1, or is it like with Liara that you can still talk to her alot, be nice and not start a romance without relising.
