I honestly dont have a clue about how high exactly the cap is nor how bad it is affecting me. I usually get a promotion every 4 NM, or 1 Peri +3 NM, or 2 Peri +3 NM, depending on team composition and a few other factors. It feels like not long ago it took me 8-10 Peri games to promote, so I don't find the current promotion rate that bad.

While I find the that a cap at all is unfair to hardcore players, there could still be other ways people may extrapolate their XP output, so I don't mind that Bioware keeps the cap.

The Leaderboards (at least on PC) have always been blighted by cheaters and exploiters, as least for as long as I have been playing. Some legit players who might deserve to be there may never have the chance, but that is because Bioware hasn't taken it seriously enough. I believe the purpose of a Leadeboard is to distinguish committed players. But given ME3MP, we can say Bioware has quite a bad historic when it comes to that.

The cap for nm runs on FC is 100K...Yes you'd have to do 3 runs with MAX exp to promote...but it wont take 3...more than that because it is improbable, not impossible, to do it starting with a team of lvl 1s. If they arent gonna get rid of it they should at least double it so it is actually worth it to promote

100k is really low. 4 elementalist could easily hit 150-200k xp I'd say. Freezing combos and firewalls .

The topic was created by a promotionlord and the majority of the posts above you are from people that are on the leaderboard. Are you suggesting that only people from the leaderboard have a right to demand xp cap removal? That doesn't even make sense.

Very valid point...begging to please remove the cap. Sick of low level 19's not being able to reach level 20 in 1 Perilous run.

yeah its nasty, you might as well finish round 3 on peri then die to the first mob on round 4, you wont gain any extra exp for the last two rounds because of the cap ..... certainly it will speed up promotion time, it a bit like failing me3 on round 10 after the objectives, you don't loose anything by dying but you can squeeze in an extra game per hour if you had a good team by saving that minute of finishing up time /
