And if you mean EA, that is actually wrong in the end, at least, in what people presume to be. Capcom and Ubisoft have, however, and have been much worse in the end.

Javik is not an example. 

 

Short version, it was cut content that was re-tooled to the DLC, files found in-disk are animations and voice-work that were already set before the re-tooling, and were used to make full transition easier in the coding when the From Ashes DLC was released, which contained the cut-scenes Javik was in.

 

As for the armor, you got a point there but then again that is monetary DLC that provides little benefit anyway, so I guess buy at your own risk on that. Not as egregious as Capcom and their costume packs though id say.

I thought that they were doing that with pre-orders, yes? Actually I could live with Bioware doing a kickstarter for some sort of romances expansion pack to be sold separately.
