It seems really odd that we havent seen a post by a dev yet.  I realize they are likely done developing stuff for the game, but is EA slave-driving them so much they cant even make a post on the forums about the final patch?

Btw, even though technically offtopic since this is the MP section, how exactly is the SP companion AI about now? Is it still utterly retarded, can't properly use abilities and requires constant babysitting so they don't stand in a fire, or was it improved and if yes, how much?

 

Am a bit bored right now and wouldn't mind actually finishing DAI at least once, but the companion AI was hair-pullingly frustrating at the start and turned me off playing the game (thanks for no proper tactics, BioWare).

 

SP AI are still morons. especially fun when my ranged team members are so close to enemies that they block my melee attacks. good times.

Urrgh ... well, thanks for the heads-up. Will stick to DA:Origins and DAII then if I want a DA fix. And DAI just continues collecting virtual dust in my Origin library ... what a waste.

Edited because I had too many Fs in "suffocating".  That was for all the FFFFFUUUU I experienced in game, I guess.

Strange that it only took 5 minutes to download the patch. Usually my ps4 is a lot slower.

Are we sure the size wasn't a misprint?

Unless the torch glitches and you can't pick it up and unlike the heirlooms/supplies event, you can't crack the exit until it's done.

I'd rather fail the event than have to gas my poor characters to death in order to ensure we get xp and not a failed host migration screw up.

Other than that.... I love team killing randies by taking the torch and running to the end, Mwuahaha.

On topic, I don't mind the torch event. But I've never dentures into the big boy levels of nightmare+
