Hello All,

So far I know you can import the world when you start a new charachter after completing the story on one charachter and if you the the Trespasser DLC ( wich I have ), but what excactly to you take along?

I am a lv 15 Reaver Warrior and would like to start a new char ( Tempest Rogue or Archer ), but if its really worth waiting and completing the game first before starting a new one, I rather do that then getting my new char high just to realize I could have better w8.

Thx all for the feedback!

Sorry for my bad englisch ...

The only thing you can bring with you is schematics, and that is by using the golden nug in either Haven, Skyhold or the Palace, other than that, nothing can be transfered between saves.

^This.

If you start from scratch, you start from scratch.

Use the nug to sync your schematics. They will enable you to use T3.. T4 schematics from the moment you reach haven. Like that explosive arrow longbow? No problem. Like that encore staff? Perfect. Soon as you finish the tutorial / prologue, go foraging for items in the hills and craft it.

If the value of the Golden Nug sync isn't immediately obvious to you, it's probably not worth it to finish your first play through before starting your second.

After spending hours save scumming a Tier 3 chest in my first play through (and my second, and my third), all I can say is thank the Maker for the Golden Nug -- what took you so long?

If you really want to and you play on PC, Go to the nexus, and download the save file that has all the schematics, sync them to your nug and then restart with a new character. Otherwise, I'd recommend finishing the story first.

You could always just test play on your party members during combat. It should be a more accurate test anyway, since you will have 15 levels worth of skills (and upgrades) to use.

This is true.  Just because your inquisitor is a reaver doesn't mean you can't take control of Sera and play the entire game as an archer if you are interested in archery.  There are some specs we're just not into.  No amount of money in the world can get me to play as an archer.  I played once as a 2H warrior but won't do it again.  My bread and butter is as a mage or a dual wield dual blade rogue.
