Hello All,

Everyone knows that this game is not " newbie friendly ", the research that is required just to get the basics, crafting system, classes etc etc, is pretty intense.

Now I have looked up all those things, still I am missing one thing to kinda end my research and finnaly start enjoying my game more.

Especially since am lvl 15 now and fights are getting more intens.

What I would like to know is what the  " Key Stats " are for every class, and this for every slot ..

I did find some post, but most of them are chinees for me since its mostly theorycrafting.

Any ideas where I could find this?

This is what I found so far :

Strength = Attack increase for Warriors
Dexterity = Attack increase for Rogues
Magic = Attack increase for Mages

Willpower = Attack increase + Magic Defense Increase for ALL Classes
Constitution = HP increase + Melee Defense increase for ALL Classes
Cunning = Critical Attack Chance Increase (+ Crit Damage and Ranged Defense???) for all Classes
(Don't have the game on so I can't tab down to Cunning to check)

To build upon what sleasye has said,

It really varies from build to build.

2H warrior: High critical chance, High attack, bugger critical damage. The chance is to proc the weaken, fear, cooldown, sunder procs of the reaver and 2H tree. My Iron bull has 75% crit chance.

SnS Tank: High Health, Guard on hit, High attack. Criticals are not really important as your role is purely to act as a meat shield and you have no talents that require criticals anyway. My blackwall has 2 guard on hit masterworks (3, 5) and a **** tonne of health.

Mage - Offensive: High critical chance, especially on a rift mage. You will have no problem generating mana on a rift mage only spell cooldowns. With Flashpoint, each crit gives your next spell zero cooldown. But the proc has a 10 second cooldown so you need enough crit chance to proc at least every 10 seconds. I tend to take around 50% critical on a rift mage, pump the rest in to critical damage. Wrath of lovias+hilt grip+dragon blade is your friend. 6% attack, 40% chance, 60% damage. 20% crit damage rings.. Use the storage chest duplication exploit if you want more than two of them.

Mage - Support: Anything really. I find Necro makes the best support class, dorian for me, has 95% health on kill, full spirit and full necro tree. His sole job is to keep barriers up and survive.

Rogue - Archer: High Crit chance (50% ish), Even higher Crit damage (200% ish)

Rogue - Dagger: High crit chance (50% ish), Higher Crit damage (200% ish), Flanking damage. There are builds out there that reach 301K with a dagger assassin built to abuse the flanking mechanic. Unless you are playing an assassin rogue, in which case go full critical damage, Stealth + knife in the shadows gives you instant criticals for 3 seconds after leaving stealth. So just spam stealth + attack

Crit chance and attack got the same priority for 2h warriors. For burst crit is better, for pure sustain attack is better.

DW rogues prefer Flank damage(which is stronger per point than any other offensive stat) almost exclusively. Non assassins might want to reach50% - 70% crit, so they got roughly 100% uptime on their abilities, while assassins want as little as possible, but want to stack out flank damage and crit damage.

Dexterity increases Critical Damage for all classes. Some builds will benefit more from high critical damage than others. Necromancers, with their "damage over time" spells, care less about dexterity/cunning than KEs.

Where do you get 2 rings of slicing and 2 rings of assault? You can only buy one from the Black Emporium.

The regular item dupe trick only works there now though.

Thanks for answering, sleasye and Unnamed Warden, but I've never been able to get the dupe to work. I don't know whether it's because I'm using a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller or because I'm just too slow*, but that particular trick doesn't work for me. Ah, well. I doubt the loss of that little bit of optimization is going to hurt me much.

* I type over 80 words per minute, so I doubt speed is the problem. :)
