I wonder if Kieran was originally meant to be born but with so many not liking Morrigan or not wanting to see Alistair sleep with her even if it meant both the Warden and him would live, he was turned into an option? I found the whole scene in the Fade (with that disturbing blood gushing statue of Dirthamen) to be more canon than meeting her at the alter if he wasn't born.

I didn't do the DR because old gods must die, this was my purpose,Alistair or Loghain they are just sacrifice

(i don't care about them enough to special summon chtulu).

I also prefer the Altar scene rather than all that drama in the fade, which is indeed to me more canon than the fade scene which is just at best a contrived nullification of the dark ritual to remove out of existence that soul.

"We few who travel far, call to me and I will come."

Is that an anagram? Can someone solve that if it is.

it's a riddle rephrase it and you will have I'm Lord voldemort

For me I see it as this. Archdemons must die, but Old Gods are victims of the Blight. I am glad the soul of one can be salvaged in hopes of maybe a better understanding of what they were and why killing them before they become Blighted upset Solas so badly.

The altar scene is good too and mostly everything is repeated, but I think the Fade scene hints just a bit more at things from DAO with Morrigan now being a mother too.

All I know is, I still like Flemeth/Mythal and hope she's still around even if not physically.

Flemeth basically tells us that the legends about her are basically true (that she was once a normal woman from the Towers Age) but the only difference is that the "demon" from the story was actually Mythal.

It is incredibly sad that mother and daughter did not get to make up until the end

now Morrigu will be filled with perpetual regret that she misunderstood her mother's love for her.

Flemeth also did not help matters by being so secretive

Yes they are all innocent...kinda like Solas, they do what it must be done in order to fulfill the void of their existence.
Solas is a potential mass murder, leader of the altmer elves who changed the world at his will once, while simply going to sleep in the meantime.
everything that he and Flemeth said is so ambiguous that i don't eve listen to them.
As for the Old gods they are rather  evil or just useless for the world even without the taint.

- Who taught the secrets of blood magic to some crazy neromerians who later built an empire of slaves? Them
-Who call the darkspawn?Them

-Who was imprisoned in chains by the Titans (WoT V2)? Them
-Who whispered to Corypheus ears and brought the taint  into the world? DUmmmat!

and as the icing of the cake give one of them to the withces of the wilds?
Ah ah,i prefer to bury Loghain which is not even such a great lost.
