I actually like it a ton on the Drelldept b/c you can charge it as you Reave stagger enemies, then literally blow them off their feet with the charged GPS. My personal favorite is blowing a Dragoon flat onto his back

Any Geth kit synergizes well, I personally prefer the Flamerless GT and the GE, when I'm not using my Falcon GE.

GE is really good with it with incendiary rounds. Obviously GI also.

Juggernaut is my fav. character for the GPS. I feel it synergizes well with siege pulse spam.

I used to use it on the GE for ammo primed tech combos but didn't particularly like it as I felt HM wasn't being utilized to its fullest capability.

Another kit I use it on (as an alternative to Graal) is the KroSent.

Yeah that's the kit I use the GPS most regularly with- don't know how I forgot about him.

Q I'm surprised you don't roll it with vorcha. That venom can get overheated and need rest. GPS is good for BIG MONSTERS.

It would definitely work, the GPS just doesn't strike me as an especially Vorcha-ey gun. My Vorcha are pretty much restricted to the Raider, Wraith, Graal, Venom, Claymore, Reegar, BPP, or the Executioner. Maybe something like the Saber or Revenant if I really wanted to go outside the box.

Just been on and used it with my justicar with warp ammo. It worked really well and wrecked Cerberus on gold. I was pugging it but all games went well. I play on Xbox and I live in UK. I don't really have many people to game with tbh so just have to pug UUG.

I want to say KroLord.

It's not that I get the most out of my GPS in that scenario (its direct damage accounts for little of my KroLord's total offense) but that the combination is one of the most fun for me to play.

Of course, a Graal offers very similar gameplay and brings thematic singularity to the equation, but the question was about the GPS. Plus, I like the GPS' ranged targeting and ability to stagger armoured units for when objectives require that the KroLord engage at a distance, or there are annoying insta-gib cheaters like Banshees and Praetorians around.

Its definitely wonky off-host, and more so the more laggy it is, but its still usable.

Just tried it out with my TSent and it kicked butt! At first I was off host and then on host. Not unmanageable at all. Some decent pug games I might add.

Two of my three favorite shotties for him, along with the high lord.

I don't use the Graal on the KroLord, because I'm too afraid that I will get a headshot and kill the enemy, thus costing myself the opportunity to pimp-slap, headbutt, or hammer smash it into oblivion.  Also because the Graal really suffers off-host, while the GPS is just fine.

If you're still looking for something different try it out on the BatSent. I ran that load out for a while before switching to the Raider. There really is no wrong way to use it.

I like it on a juggernaut. You can charge it up while you're firing your siege pulses, so you don't really lose any DPS, which is really nice, plus it staggers phantoms and lets you pulse them.

Any kit is fine as long as it is on host. I have had a horrible game off host with GPS two days ago despite having low ping (around 75 msec). GPS shots were harmlessly going through most of the enemies even at point blank. It looked quite strange as the greenish fired GPS charges were on top of all graphics. For some strange reason, the only enemies that were hit more or less reliably were husks.

One cool thing about the GPS + Infiltrator that everyone who's already posted probably knows, but may be helpful to newer players:

Releasing an already charged shot will not break Tactical Cloak. Thus you can get Tactical Cloak's bonus damage on two shots, one that you had charged up before you cloaked and you release while cloaked, and a second quick-shot (not charged up) also while cloaked, which will break cloak. Basically it's the act of pulling, not releasing, the trigger that breaks cloak.

When I had a thin manifest, I'd use the GPS a lot on the vanilla Human Infiltrator because it was the best weapon/character combo I had at that time. (No GI yet, for example.) The combination of charged shot w/ cloak bonus + noncharged shot w/ cloak bonus will kill a lot of enemies in one... er, well, two... shots.

Thanks dude. I am one of your subs so I have already studied your videos. I just never really played the GPS much in the couple of years I've played the game. Now that right there is shameful! QFI interests me though. I'll be sure and try that. Peace.

Geth engineer is my fav. Charge, overload, shoot. Easy. Plus the plasma shotgun is also a sniper rifle. Accurate at any range. And Geth bonuses! :)

I've always used it on my female quarian engineer. Partially for nerdy lore reasons, but also because it's worked pretty well in practice.
