Ok, what is the deal with this quest? Are these things just found at random, or all they all in tombs?
If they are random, I'll never find them all, and if they are in tombs, I can't remember which ones I've already visited since there's no way to mark them as visited?
Is this needed or should I just move on?
They are at set locations. You don't need them. But if you are a completionist it's a thing. Most are around tombs. There is one by the Dying light marker, one in the oasis with all the wyverns. And one by a Dwarven statue out all by its lonesome, I do believe. Oh, and the one by the Sandy Howler.
They are there to annoy you because they show up on the map as question marks or exclamation points and fake out the HUD minimap like there is something interesting there!
