So I recently came back to DA:I to pick up the DLCs and started a new playthrough to refresh myself on the story. Anyways in the Hinterlands after clearing out the Templars and Apostates I encountered a couple of Red Templars near the lake on my way to recruit Blackwall. After killing them Cassandra says, "Red Templars? Corypheus must have sent them here for something." Pretty WTF moment as I have yet to recruit the Templars or Mages and story wise I should have no idea what a Red Templar or Corypheus is.
Minor continuity bug.

After you reach a certain level the maps refresh themselves a bit with mobs like higher level red templars and such. I agree it is a continuity problem, just like some followers referring to you as "Inquisitor" if you take certain dialogue options back in Haven.

Yeah, there are a few of those. I don't know if it's still there, but the Black Emporium's war table dialogue mentioned weapons to use against Corypheus, and that's accessible at Haven ![]()
(It's a huge game. No one could have possibly caught all those things leading up to launch.)

Also, if you've got Varric in your party, that should have been a pretty shocking moment for him! He knew exactly who Corypheus was ![]()

Happened on my first playthrough with Blackwall identifying Corypheus' red templars, though it was near the caves in the north west.
