I have many games throughout the day with open spots in nightmare set to public not on the castle....just sayin

 

It seems that if you arent finding games, it may be a personal problem of not wanting to play any other map....not Bioware's fault

So everyone who has problems finding maps other than Ferelden Castle on Nightmare secretly loves that map and doesn't actually search for other maps?  Then they come onto the forums and complain about not being able to find other maps on Nightmare to shift suspicion away from themselves?  Interesting.

I'd love to play more nightmare, too bad BioWare has essentially forced it to be a one map difficulty and that particular map is a horrible grind fest and far more difficult than other maps.  Pity.

 

 

Bioware gives you the option to choose which map you want to play

 

There shouldnt ever be a problem "finding" a certain map to play because you can choose which map you want to play at any time

 

Bioware isn't forcing anyone to play Ferleden castle to get the hakkons by adding them to the loot table of the chests

I feel there is a disconnect in this argument.  Important points to take note of:

 

* Yes, promotion lords can go and start up any map by themselves and wait for others to come along.  They are not forced to play any map.  They can solo any of the maps by themselves if need be.

 

* Promotion squires have to WAIT until a full lobby is formed before starting the map.  Promotion squires are frustrated because full lobbies are only being formed on the castle map.  

 

* Promotion lords and promotion squires both hate RNG.  Both will never get the Crescent Blade - except for Death2AllWeaBoz.

Just soloed 3/4 of stage 4 FC Nightmare with my archer and 2 players just entered the fade.

 

Even the Despair demons couldn't bring me down.

Gotta say that the idea that only NM FC pugs are available is not really true anymore. I pug all the time (PC) and over the past week I have had more non FC NM pugs than otherwise.

Come chill in threatening/perilous where there is no incentive to dragon hunt.

FC makes up only about 20% of my games.

Which kind of proves everyone's point that it wasn't a good idea to gate so many weapon behind the dragon.

1) I am not a great host for people for some reason performance wise.
2) The wait time to get cop anions for a non FC map is much longer.

To get the max chance at getting a Hakkon and previously the only chance you had to play FC. It was = fire base white geth gold as far as what map you could count on if you try and join a lobby. I am not leet enough to take on nightmare on my own to start a game other than perhaps a class or two if i am lucky.

I would like to be among those heroic players the OP is being thankful to, but I am pretty sure no random player would ever join on me if I started a NM pug game on my own. Not my fault, it is Bioware's.

However, I also want to give my thanks for those bold players out there who take the time and have the patience to start NM games on their own and wait for others to join, regardless of pug skill level, gear or any other factor. You may not be helping me directly, but you are encouraging many people to venture into NM and hopefully staying there, which is helping the community and, in a way, helping me as well.

I have the stats to start nm but not to solo all 5 levels   yet.....

I dont have the internet to host anything past perilous w/o major bouncing

Yeah I get what KalGerion is saying...

 

and besides I'm not that much of a hardcore gamer, my eyes really hurt after 2 consecutive nightmare runs lol

 

So I like to take a brak between matches, it's rare for me to play consecutively, the only exception is nightmare, cause it's hard to find a decent team in pugs, so when I find one I try to get the best out of it. But still 2 consecutive NM is my record so far, can't play longer, getting old lol

 

And I always call the dragon in FC if I got there on wave 3 or am the last guy that joined the game, btw, now that it comes up,

 

we need more chests with the Dragon Call!
