I wonder why those spirits attack inquisitor who doesn't have the knowledge of the well. If Solas wanted us to find those qunari invasion plan, shouldn't he tell them something like 'hey don't attack my-soon-to-be-enemy/former-dear-friend for just this time'?

If he just wanted to talk to inquisitor, couldn't he just, I don't know, pay a visit? Preferably not so traumatizing one?
