There was a box that looked like the special shipments box with the crafting equipment. But I don't recall anything actually dropping.

Yeah there is a special shipments chest in the area where you can also change your outfit. It's near the tavern/above Cassandra.

The special shipment box is there, but it doesn't give you Trials rewards. I know because I earned rewards during Trespasser but couldn't access them.
