Not usually a fan of roguish characters, but I could go for an LI similar to Fujiko Mine from the Lupin series. He'd be a neutral character who would sometimes be an enemy, sometimes, an ally, but no matter the situation, would be a ton of fun, constantly exchanging witty sexual repartee with the PC, and even hooking up with them when he's an ally. Depending on how you treat him, he could either leave Tevinter or hang out in a bar/your stronghold for the PC. It'd be a light and drama free romance, with the witty dialogue as the main draw.
What kind of LI would you like to see in the next game?

I hate to prolong the derailment here but: nooooo. The number of people you bang or frequency thereof has nothing to do with whether or not you respect yourself.
To be fair, it's possible that the alleged colonel is saying that the lack of STI protection is the indicator of lack of self-respect.

'They don't know me, I know me.'
One of my favourite video game quotes of all time, and proof that Isabela has plenty of respect for herself.

I don't know that it means much given how little we know about contraceptives in Thedas. Maybe they don't have anything for before, and so you have no choice but to address the consequences afterward? *shrug*

Maybe. But it makes me wonder how many mage healers are actually around for that.

Did Anders mention a poultice or something in that scene? If that's the case, maybe it's not mage-specific. Even mundane healers might be able to whip up something.

I would like to see a really complex neutral/evil character who is actually likeable.

Well, I respect your opinion, but I heartily disagree. If you let practically anyone have a slice of your pie, to the point that you regularly have to treat STI's, then you don't value yourself that much as far as I'm concerned. Even if they do, it's still gross and ****** slack as hell.

I'd like the love interest to take initiative in the romance, make the move and express interest in the protagonist for a change. Then it's up to the protagonist to decide if he/she returns their feelings.
As for the love interest type, let's say dangerously in love? I'd like to see someone who's dominant, unapologetic, intelligent, knows and gets what they want. Their eyes are set on the main character. Crush the competition even if there's a little bloodshed.

Err... yeah, I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree here. I can't see any logic to this. Where's the arbitrary line between acceptable and unacceptable amounts of sex? Why can't she value herself just because you don't? Bodies aren't gross, enjoying them isn't gross, and it's just such a weird thing to pass judgment on. Like it's fine if you don't want to romance her, but dang.

Where's the arbitrary line? Well it varies from person to person, but for me, banging so many people that you regularly have to visit a powerful mage to heal it and to the point that a city you just arrived in has an itch named after you.... that's around where that arbitrary line lies.
Bodies vary in grossness from person to person. As for valuing herself, just because someone says it doesn't mean she means it, and I don't buy it. Actions speak louder than words.

I personally don't create characters based on myself, I tend to disassociate myself from them. I create characters that I'd like to see in action.
Some LIs I would like:
Bisexual Knights In Shining Armor.
Cool Avvar mage.
Someone like Nathaniel Howe, bi so that I can romance him with anyone.
Harding or another cool dwarf.
Maevaris.

Oh, I thought of one: if we must have an obligatory Grey Warden love interest per game, could we have a female one next? And maybe an elf/dwarf this time, since human male Warden's been done three times now, 'tis getting a bit repetitive.

I was saying about the STD, if she is romanced she doesnt get it. I didnt even know about it, until I saw the scene on the youtube. In the game maybe, but it's not like she just got like that. You remember Origins.
But I agree with you on this, its kind of disgusting the need of getting magical treatment to cure STD. Thats why I said luckly she doesnt get STD if you romance her.

I know, I meant I doubt that's the first one. The scene made it seem like Anders was used to it. Could be wrong but no matter, even if she didn't get stis, still gross like you said. If others don't mind it, then more power to them. I just like someone with less mileage than a shipload (or more) of dudes. Doubt many women would be comfortable with a man that's been with that many women either. Even if its something they can look past for love, it's still something they have to try to look past.

Well I only got confirmation that he wasn't a Warden at like three billion hours into my first playthrough, and then I went and made him join the Wardens for real anyway, and even in the playthroughs where I don't make him join he still keeps cosplaying in Warden-themed armor like a hopeless fanboy to the end, so... he totally counts.

Lol I can see how he might, I guess he may as well be a warden. I get so annoyed now hearing my Inquisitor ask him Grey Warden questions while he gives vague answers. I like him, but grrrr, I want to hit him too.
An elven grey warden chick would be nice, would remind me of Isseya.

Valya is a good candidate if griffins ever come into play for present day Dragon Age, which seems possible now. I don't have much desire to kiss her though
Not yet, anyway. So far she's just mainly the vehicle for which the grey warden's tale of the griffins were to be told, but if she becomes the keeper of Griffins, she'll get badass real quick some day.
