A straight/bisexual female dwarf.
What kind of LI would you like to see in the next game?

He's single if the Chargers live and Cole's more human than spirit.
Which is why he's unlikely to be an LI. BW aren't going to spend the money making Krem a returning companion and LI for a small number of worldstates when they could make an entirely new LI who could be romanced and recuited reguardless of worldstates. Maybe if there was unlimited time and budget they could do that but there's even less likely to happen.
A straight/bisexual female dwarf.
So... Harding?

For the evil inclined:
For hetero females: A male version of Jack, a non-Tevinter rebel mage that the Templars and Seekers are afraid of. Either a blood mage or some kind of arcane warrior or knight enchanter. Did lots of bad things in the Mage-Templar War, doesn't regret any of them. The anti-Cullen.
Hetero males: City Elf female berserker or the Anne Bonny clone I mentioned above. Or a Kaine clone Spirit Warrior.
Give them redemption arcs that they ultimately reject.

Yeah, I was going for the Anti Cullen and Alistair. It works so much better on females though... Sadly.

- Put me down as another one for a slimy schemer like Crassius Servis. I liked him so much when I was judging him I *had* to recruit him.
- Also put me down for a dwarf. Any dwarf. PLEASE! I also nominate Lace Harding, like so many others.
- If Maevaris Tilani was an LI next game and gated behind "male dwarves only" I would role a male dwarf to romance her in a heart beat. I know this is highly unlikely though, and it does make me very sad.
- A bi or gay female good aligned knight-type. We haven't had a lady knight for the ladies yet.
- A STRONG silent type lady for the ladies. Who you only really learn is a marshmallow on the inside when she trusts you. Female Qunari/Tal-vashoth or female Avvar...
- An older lady, we haven't had one of those yet either. Can mix that with the previous point I guess.
- Could go an older man as well - There was Blackwall (I think, how old was he again? and Solas lol) but I'd prefer someone more charismatic I think an older Magister would be grand personally.
These have all probably been said in some form already but oh well.

Bishop in NWN 2 nails it pretty well. Make him a mage, give him a good voice actor, and I think you are in business. Since male Jack is essentially Riddick, that could certainly work. Have his unique skill tree be a recreation of the broken blood mage/Arcane Warrior hybrid from Origins

You know, I have a feeling that Bioware were originally going to pair Harding with Sera because Sera always approves when you flirt with her. But since Harding got so popular they instead decided to pair Sera with Dagna and (hopefully) save Harding as a DA4 LI. Pure speculation on my part though
.
As for me, I'd like:
- A M/M only battle-hardened dwarf option
- A heterosexual male elf leading an underground slave rebellion and secretly a Dread Wolf Agent
- A F/F Female Human Warrior - maybe a former templar from the Minrathous Circle or a former Tevinter soldier who wants a better Tevinter for the soperati.
- Maybe a female Tal-Vashoth who can be romanced by all races and genders, but make it difficult to romance her as a qunari PC (like it was romancing Sera as an elf).

I think Sera just like cute dwarven ladies. She and Dagna have far more in common.

You're right, Dagna is certainly cheery and fun-loving and somewhat crazy in a good way (although certainly not as much as Sera), but then again so is Harding minus the crazy part. I don't know, something just tells me that Bioware were going to pair her and Sera together but switched to Dagna at the last second.

I think Harding was being considered as an LI for DA4 from pretty early on. Plus, Sera nicknames Dagna in her journal and that's in the base game - before Harding became such a popular character.

After the final battle.
It's something like 'finally someone fun! I think I'll call her Widdle'. And then drawings of the two of them holding awesome yet impractical weapons.

I don't think Harding is being given half the consideration the fanbase thinks she is. She was a very late addition to the game, only added after they figured they needed someone to give info-dumps on each of the areas we go to. She was only given flirt options to give her a little more depth and make her slightly more interesting, given that her role was pretty flat.
Besides, Trespasser implies that she and the Inquisitor finally hook up if you flirted with her, so unless the Inquisitor is the PC again - something I'm strongly hoping against - I don't see her making the leap as an LI.
Which, you know, I'm alright with. I want a dwarven LI as much as the next person - put one on my list, after all - but while I did like Harding, I'm not super attached to the idea of the dwarven li being her.

Or on the other hand a complete tsundere character, who is just cold and hostile to everyone else but with the the romanced protag they're just as sweet and blush-y as they come. Who only lets them see how much they care about everything and everyone.

Bringing this back a bit yet I just beat The Jaws of Hakkon DLC in my canon play and I would be very interested in having an Avvar male mage as a LI in the next game. Perhaps one with a spirit guide still with them making him exiled from his tribe although holding to the ancient ways of his people with a deep hatred for the Tevinter Imperium.
Sounds like the lovechild of Anders and Sigrid.
I'd definitely like an Avvar companion, though. Especially if we never get to play an Avvar PC. And we can send the goat-thrower's tribe off to Tevinter...
