I can't seem to find a location. Does anyone know where it can be obtained? I have it on another play through, but my memory is foggy.

To my knowledge, there isn't one. 

 

The only way to get one is through cheat engine as far as I know.

I got it from dragon but just random drop ,just kill, save and kill til one ring appear that how I got mine,i play on ps4 impossible for me to cheat/hack the game

x2 ring of slicing is more than enough to reach 100%, not necessary for superb ring of critical chance ,if you really want one keep kill any dragon til it drop, the reason it drop maybe due to schematic sync through nug which take out the schematic that suppose to drop but instead replace by random item ,it took me around 1-2hrs for critical chance to drop

the 3 dragons in Emprise du lion ,the most  kill is either highland ravager or hivernal . you can dupe ring of slicing with storage box in skyhold youtube you can find plenty teach you how to dupe....

I leave one item in high end loot item locations, and been able farm many of the "superb ring of xyz"

The higher level locations, specifically for me, JoH Fade Rift drops. Leave one item, leave map, come back, items respawn. It usually leaves at least one superb ring of strength, cit damage, etc

UMM... I just did that last night, after the latest patch.

You can dupe armour, weapons, accessories, or anything that you can put in the item storage in the undercroft....

If you can get one, then dupe it till your hearts content!!.

Xbox One? Are you sure? I've tried it so many times today and it didn't work. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? Could you elaborate how it works? I've been putting an item into the storage, and then hitting withdraw, and back at the same time. It doesn't work

As I understand it, item duping was fixed at merchants, but the container dupe remains. Playing on XB1, it's actually easier to dupe than it is on the PC, since you'll be using a controller. It's supposed to be possible to dupe items using a keyboard and mouse, but I haven't been able to manage it yet.

It doesn't work for me, either (I'm a KB/M peasant), so I hope someone else can offer some insight.

I've been farming the hell out of veil quartz this way.  I usually leave the ring or the axe or the statue of blessed andraste in the loot drop, go to skyhold and then go back and magic.  veil quartz and fade touched silverite!

If you don't want to wait until you can kill dragons or until you can do JoH, the containers in the thaig map in The Descent DLC can also spawn any unique accessory. It takes some patience, but I've managed to find a number of superb crit chance/crit damage rings by farming those. Just make sure you leave at least one item in each container though so the loot will keep respawing if/when you find yourself in need of something else.

I know you can get a rare ring of crit chance. But I always thought there was no Superb version.

I found one in The Descent DLC and storage duped the s*** out of it.

Can't remember where though. Might have been from the gears.

Seriously is there a Superb crit chance ring? Ive killed the dragons so many times to get the best amount of material they drop, but not once did a crit chance ring appear. I only knew they were in multiplayer.
