I already have a tier 3 armor (Elementalist) , but I wondered is there higher tier than tier 3? I want to play in higher difficulty than threatening but melee defense is a troublesome for me. I just need to have a better armor than tier 3, so is it possible? If there is a possible for existing tier 4 or more, please instruct me on how to find it.

The main reason I asked this question because I dont want to waste my materials on same armor of tier 3. Resources of mats are very vital for me, even at this moment. Although, I just started playing on this game for like a month or so. I like this game already.

Plz help me out!!

Promotions are more important by a looooong shot. Armor does very little for you in actuality, unless you're on a warrior with tons of armor bonuses.

Tony's right:  promote, promote, promote.  In the meantime, work for the drakescale armor for the classes you play most.  There's rogue, warrior and mage variant.  It is the best armor available for all (but ZITHER!)

Yea, what they said, but with a caveat; equip the stuff that makes yer build better. Just as the Drakescale may be better for classes that have armor buffs, so might that critical damage ring be better served on a class that actually has a good chance to crit.

Figger out what you want to do, and equip the gear that makes that plan better. Then, play the way you want to play.

Promotions are the end all, but they are definitely not the be all; positioning, gear, teamwork and plain old common sense will carry you through a lot of runs.

Drakescale is easier to get than crafting purple for everyone. Crafted purples look better than drakescale for some characters.

Drakescale has better numbers than crafted purples but it isn't a lot.

Best thing you could do is use Magic Resistance armor upgrades on those purples and golds since magic is dumb and ignores armor rating.

If you have enough materials though you could one for general missions with Magic Resistance and the other for dragon hunting with Cold Resistance. j/k you don't need Cold Resistance for the Frost Dragon.

I wonder if I am shorting myself by putting frost runes on some of my weapons.   I would like to put superb lighting runes but I have not gotten a single one.  I have found like 10 each of superb fire and frost.. but not a single lightning.  Even master lightning are kind of rare.
