Yes or no. And spare me the drama... unless you're a grill. Then that's cool.

Me. Yes. Affirmative. Always. Otherwise, big problemo.

.... ahem. Drama; so close to playing on many frames PC today thanks to Mgamerz gamepad mod. Only this issue in the way... gonna go drink my drama away with Dark Souls and booze. I'll be back to check your drama free replies.

I prefer the normal axis. In a flying game I feel it would make more sense.

More incoming drama alert;

Good news; Got this issue fixed.

Bad news; Wave 1 solo wipe... what the heck, I get no gels to start with on PC? Or has it always been like this?

Where up is down and left is right?  weird people still are weird.

Y-axis is only up and down. Stop being weird.

Some people are legally cross-eyed and blind. I can't blame them.

No, I'm not flying a plane.  And yes, older games had it and you couldn't change it, and I got used to it.  Now I'm used to this.  It makes more sense to me.

Yeah, that's right. Because in my excitement to start already, I forgot to buy the starter pack that addresses that issue. I now have 2 clip packs, 1 gel and 1 ops.

Mgamerz, I also found your first issue with the patch that only I, I joystick playing Terminator would know. While you are running and aiming left or right, you are supposed to turn a bit in that direction. At least that's how it is on console.

Yes, I invert the Y-axis.  I'm old enough that the only "first-person" games available when I started gaming were flight simulators, so I grew up knowing nothing else.  Now, I can't use anything other than inverted Y-axis.  Seriously, if you try to make me play a game without the Y-axis inverted, it's comical.  I literally cannot do it.

I know that feeling.

Maybe games that don't have the Invert option just aren't for me.

If I want to go fly a plane, then I will go fly a plane... granted.. I am not going to make it thru security & I have no clue how to fly a plane or even start it up...but If backwards is how it's going to be, then that's how I am going to do it.

How old are you? Have you never played older 16-Bit to 32-Bit games like, say, Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike/Soviet/Nuclear Strike? Though they are 3/4 overhead helicopter shooters. They have two gamepad options; the one that mimics flight movement - a la old Resident Evil, complete with inverted y-axis for aiming your nose. The other type is basically mouse control. Whatever direction you aim, is where you go (I have no idea/memory as to how you'd aim your nose in this mode either? Maybe auto-aim made it's debut here?).

But the bottom line of this story. One makes the game very enjoyable and does a great job at giving you the illusion of handling a  helicopter. The other only exists because EA fought with the developers that the mouse type control should be the only one. Eventually the option for both was included when EA execs were out getting drunk off much Madden Football money one night.

But yes, many games in the past had inverted control scheme as only control method (because all devs were pilots back then). So many of us were raised on only this control scheme. And any game that doesn't give me the invert option, does not get bought or returned back.

Your post is giving me a headache. No to inverted or not inverted? Because I need to know if I should give you a like or not.

I think I have played it before.  I always preferred Gunship and the sequel (Apache helicopter simulators) and the F-19 Stealth game.  My first was F-15 Strike Eagle.
