Hello all,

Im one of the unfortunate people that have a RealTek HD audio sound card. The problem existied with ME1 and persists into ME2, the problem with realtek was the sound cutting off before the end of the dialog and also not reflecting the environment correctly when in face to face dialog, (hall echo effect and dim/low voice sound).

So.. I gave up on trying to FIX it and went and bout a fairly cheap Diamon Xtreme sound 5.1 card for 19.99$ at staples. All of the sound issues were fixed for except the sound still cuts off at the end of converstaion dialog as well as when characters speak when i walk by them.

Im now uninstalling the game from my 500GB drive and installing it on my 120Gb drive..

Ill follow up with the complete specs if the hard drive swap fixes the Sound Cut off problem.

Nope didnt fix anything.. swapped to another hard drive.. sound still cuts off at end of dialog sentences.

I edited Coalesced.ini and changed the channels from 32 to 64, no change... audio still cuts off...

70$ spent and i still cant enjoy this game to its fullest ! its so aggravating for the dialog to cut off!.. Great job Bioware on your beta testing.. or did you just release this to ****** off fans of the game.
