Not a bad option for the consumer if the popular-ish games sell for half price with all dlc after just one year. If you are a big fan we can pay more and buy it when it first comes out and pay more for that new car smell (bugs).
ok I feel bad about pre - ordering

Well personally I'm somewhat glad at GOTY edition.. it's only reason that got me even wondering to play DAI again. Since without it there wouldn't be any point for me to buy the game all over again just cause Bioware thought that it's completely reasonable to make lore-heavy epilogue of the game in DLC that not only finishes story of our main character and his/her LI and companions, but also includes lots of revelations about Dragon Age's world and lays settings for DA4. Just great.
So.. I guess when I buy PS4 I will get GOTY edition of DAI for it. Maybe it will even be on sale so I'll be paying just for DLC's and not for base game again.

I see little difference between Origins and Inquisition in this matter, but that's just me.
Base game brought the end of the immediate threat, with an epilogue. Except this time, they knew the characters will have stuff to do, unlike Origins.
Blight, Breach, same thing from one point of view.
Then in a DLC, they summed up the arc of the protagonist. Again, Witch Hunt or Trespasser, there is no difference in this.
And just like old times, Varterrals have not appeared until Witch Hunt. A somewhat decent amount of lore has been revealed, even if there is no "official" reveal of the Elven Gods in Witch Hunt. Actually, Morrigan hints at Inquisition in a subtle fashion.
P.S.: Morrigan knew. Back at the Eluvian. She already knew. About Mythal.

Watch underscore dogs didn't teach this lesson?
How many times will people get screwed over with pre orders before they stop buying unfinished products.
It is just garbage. If you can literally not wait 4 days and feel you must participate in an industry wide scam then I pity you and your inability to see the big picture. Life must be so tragic for everyone you know if consequences that don't involve you are so invisible.

Witch Hunter gives very little content compared to Tresspasser. Only companion content is some about Morrigan and only lore content there is that eluvians can be fixed and you can go into them. And then vague warning from Morrigan about things to come.
Trespasser goes lot further. Comparing it to Dragon Age Awakening would be fairer comparison in my mind.
