Dragon age Inquisition for me personally, is the best game I have ever played. Everything about it appeals to me and I can see all the hard work that Bioware has put into it. That being said, when I play a game like this I really love to get into the role and dedicate myself to the character I'm playing.

From the beginning I could already see that everyone else in the game looked better than me in the clothing department. I have played the game around 4 times spending over 100 hours on each character so I still love the game but I can't shake the feeling of looking terrible in comparison to everyone else. For me personally, I play as a mage and was always concerned about the mage clothing, it felt a little silly. Dragon Age Inquisition has included clothing that I would love to wear such as

I do understand that we are meant to be "individual" but I've seen so many robes and clothing that would be completely perfect for some of my characters. I know its not as easy as just giving people the clothes but Bioware must have something to offer more than the typical coats and simple armour. These clothes have a lot of detail and with the ability to tint clothing it could be something very interesting. As I've said I am so grateful for everything Bioware has done in making such a fantastic game but asking for a few simple things could appeal to people not just me.

My second thing to say, which I'm not sure if many have noticed is how terrible some of the best armours look on male inquisitors compared the females. I do understand that females have different body types and its fitting sometimes but to completely change the look of the outfit doesn't seem very fair. I understand its a matter of opinion but the elven clothing (best looking armours available in game to me) look so fantastic on the female inquisitors and just awful on the men.

Here's the robes for male and female

And again for the medium armour

The female versions, to me look much more "mage looking" they have more flowing fabric and fit better. The male elven inquisitors also have a slim figure so I don't understand why it needs to be so bulky, also they look completely different and I really don't like the male version of these when compared to the female. I understand that the male and females have different looks but I don't think its too much to ask for a little fairness especially considering these are the most detailed/interesting armours I have seen available in the game. If the new DLC armour can be put over some of the bigger male characters and then can't something be done at all?

I know that its a dramatic example, but I can see that its possible on some level. I hope that other people have seen these little issues and ultimately they are small and not worth getting too annoyed about but if other people feel the same then why shouldn't we suggest things to Bioware to make it an even better game. I hope it doesn't seem like this was one giant rant, it's just some things I've seen that I personally think could be better.

Clothing is one of the most talked/argued/debated about topic in DA games. Each DA game has some clothing/armor thread pop up complaining. I remember the groaning over how female medium (between leather/light and plate/heavy) armor looked in Origins, the complaining about not customizing companions in DA2, and the armor options for the PC in Inquisition.

I think there are clothing mods for DA2 and Inquisition. Certainly there are mods for Origins.

Wow, Iron Bull looks really creepy in Calpernia's robes. Look at those spindly little legs!  :o

I would've loved it if the elven armour styles were available for both male and female. There is actually a female elf (from MP?) in the Skyhold garden who wears male elf mage robes.

That's the Keeper from the multiplayer. All multiplayer characters (except the ones that were added later, like Isabela) can be found in the main game and mentioned in Operations.

I've seen pics of people using mods to get the multiplayer armor models in the main game to use.
