They're just scrubs, ignore them and outscore them just the same so they quit.
Unless they're nuking double primes. Then NUKE DA MUTHAFUCCKAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
i can't agree more with double prime
i can't agree more with double prime
Good, we're gonna get along mighty fine then! ![]()
On Platinum I think 1 missile a wave is acceptable, especially in the later waves. Makes the game go much smoother. On Gold it is not really needed until Wave 11. ![]()

the horrible thing is come from double drone and double prime = 4 stagger per shot
i remember 1 solo game at platinum , die because of the 2 geth prime at the extraction wave due to stagger, out of gel
and the result is not count ![]()
100% understandable to see people rage missle at geth prime

just a gold game
4 players using consumable

I find it boring, and the opposite of fun. Besides the target objectives and sticky situations (surrounded by bosses, avoiding revive chains, saving from sync kills), I find it pretty dull to nuke.
Come on guys let's be honests, nuking is for scoring
The thing I have trouble understanding is nuking outside objective waves on an easy game.
Yesterday I was playing my beloved drell adept, and 3/4 times, when I arrived in front of a defensless spawn of cute brutes and juicy ravagers some dumb*ss would nuke it 0.002 secs before my grenades touch them.
So here is a message : to all nukers, go nuke on an objective wave where you won't bother anyone.
PS : if the game turns out to be difficult do the opposite ![]()

Some people just use nukes as a panic button for when a team mate is about to get synced or to clear out an objective gone bad, but many players I encounter use it as a panic button when they're about to get outscored in w11. I see the latter use far more often than the former.

Nuking is not for scoring
Its to let out your inner Rage Rocket mania that comes from any number of things:
Geth stunlock off host - for those times when 2 secs ago there were none behind you or around you, then you do down and when you get up theres 5+ now raking you
Phantom DR on host - for that time when flipping and flipping and flipping and flipping just has to stop
those games when every enemy in the game has decided YOU are the only target - this is when you think your doing a solo and theres 3 other players in the game
double Primes, Praetorians, and Banshees at your feet
triple Phantoms
All good reasons to nuke along with what Nightstalker said

I'd add geth turrets and guadians when you have no penetration
They are great for saving the day with pugs, but when the team is strong enough and missiles are abused, I think they take away from the fun.
Missiles are rarely needed unless the team is purposely entering with low damage setups, or mistakes are accumulating.
I'd add geth turrets and guadians when you have no penetration
I forgot one thing I always nuke
when I see an Atlas, an engineer or 2 a phantom and a turret all in a group advancing towards you

I've had pretty good streak at saving my team mate before they gets sync killed so far ![]()
Maybe it's because my host is so laggy I can see it coming... ![]()
Anyway, I dislike spawn or wave 11 nuking. With pugs I give a little bit more leniency but if I am playing with people I know, especially in a perfectly strong team, and they still do that consistently, I'd probably avoid playing future games with them because it does take away the fun of the game ![]()
I may nuke spawns in the last waves if I feel that I'm carrying too heavily. In smooth games I keep missiles for sync-kills saves and eventually for target switching.
I also always nuke double Praetorians waves, but that's a PS3 specific problem.
I think the response everyone shares is always going to be : It depends.
Depends on what is right in front of me at the time....If I don't feel like fighting 2 Primes at once..nuke em.. they deserved it anyways... I have no prob facing double banshees..or praetorians..which ever one gets in my face 1st, is the 1st to die...
I have never actually been apart of any intentional speed runs...alot of the time, they happen..it's because of what was happening over the course of the game..or they were with a really good group..and Glacier happens to wind up being fast no matter what.
If I am making the 10 sec mad dash for the EZ, then I nuke what ever chose to get in my way.
if a cerberus turret downs me...rage gel then make it eat a missile...same goes for Prime's pets
If I don't feel like putting up with a phantoms flipping ballet performance...I dust her
If a guardian thinks he is being funny by slapping me from behind with his garage door.RIP...going to NukeTown.
I preferred missile free games.
