Because it really has no purpose anymore.
I started playing the STARWARS BATTLEFRONT beta...
I am surprised they used the same engine but DICE seems to be able to netcode way better than Bioware... Just saying.

No more patches? Then does that mean we are done here? I don't have to keep playing?

Seems like it. If so, I'm gonna max my crit chance, bring my willpower up to where my constitution's at then call it weekends only.

Here is video proof that I just sent to Billy, don't mind the shitty graphics. It's on google drive so anyone can easily download it.
Thank you Minuos for the help.

It's interesting, but can see it getting old pretty quickly.
Very chaotic but really puts you in the StarWars universe.

... He said they don't have any reports on the mines bug, so he told me to tweet him some topics here on the BSN about it. It will be hard to them to fix it because of the low manpower but it's still doable. ...
This surprises me as I thought it was a well-known bug. I have see it often when throwing mines near a Saarebas or Avvar. Last night I encountered another setup that will cause the mines to float off into the air and that is when someone else is wearing the physical immunity amulet. It must place an invisible field around the user which causes the mines to float off into the air. If this amulet ever gets into wide use, any mine-based character may be close to useless as they will quickly get killed because their mines float over the enemies heads.

The video that I posted is with a saarebas, it also happens with legos, templars, arcane warriors, etc.

Just wanted to make a post and say goodbye to daimp and the forums . Have to say I had fun but am pretty bitter about how it was handled . I think there was a big opportunity they missed here . Hopefully the next ME and DA mp's will be better than this travesty was.

It is rather odd to hear no more content considering we got told "one more update" on the last Dragons and Donuts episode. Also I'd like give Jeff a wedgie for making the most annoying weekend even on the planet.............

It is sad that Bioware had once stated that they would support DAMP beyond ME3.
Support for DAMP falls short when compared to ME3's in every way I can think of.
On the other hand, it could have been much worse. There were people back in December/January/February (when support was virtually non existent) who were saying that Bioware would be pulling the plug at any moment, and that didn't happen. However, the collapse of the playerbase which took place back then largely due to lack of content, lack of communication and negligence was something the game has never been able to overcome.

That was a tough break for the community. Those first few months not only turned a bunch of people away, it turned them away so much so that they didn't even consider coming back when things improved. I found out quickly I was lucky I ignored MP until finishing the campaign.
I will say this, though. Multiplayer was an afterthought for me. I would have bought DAI even if multiplayer didn't exist.
Do I think certain things should and could have been handled better? Yes. But, I got my money's worth.

I think that the last patch, which we just got and had some minor MP tweaks, was the patch they were talking about.
And I know a lot of people were really annoyed by the last weekend event. I had a blast.
I had only drew Druffy once before, and the other three people had immediately tossed their flailing bodies on exploding nugs. So I had to try and solo the entire 5th wave. This did not end well.
So getting to play Druffy more, and actually kill him, was a lot of fun for me.

So, what's Luke doing now? I don't think that was made clear...
Is he also working on ME:A.. or still in DAMP?
If he's still working on DAMP.. then I guess there's still hope for some tweaks here and there (server side stuff)... like more gold in HB.. or cool weekend events... or other things.
If he's also working on ME:A... then.. yeah.

Billy just told me, on a stream that I was on, that they at least checked the video I sent them, so now they can't say they don't know about the flying mines.

The sad news about support is that it can take many forms, we were spoiled with the support for ME3MP, as it was a year of balance changes, weekend events, themed events & content & so we thought the same for DAIMP, but alas, support only really needs to be one of those things & that is what has happened here as all we're going to get is a weekend event switch flipped by the work experience kid...there's a joke in there about being flipped off by Bioware if anyone want to make it.
Please don't remind me of those terribly dark says, I still have nightmares about the key glitch *shudder*.
I'll still be around playing this game, so say 'hi' if you drop into one of my sessions.

On Dragons and Donuts he said he was working on something secret which he wasn't sure if he could even talk to Billy and Blar about.
Hopefully he gets a break soon because looks like he was doing a lot of extra work for MP when he didn't need to.
