Very surprised you didn't bring up the promotion system. Promotions should be front loaded and then have extreme diminishing returns. 80% Defense + 100% Critical chance should not be possible. 

 

 

I just love how they still think its ok to charge full price for a what bw basically called a sample on old gen. Then force feed us a ps4 for some man girl and a mage so stat dependant its hilarious. No maps nothing. Thank you bw for opening the door to better games than damp. And letting everyone realize what shatty pr you have.

 

 

Yeah, it was pretty shady to discontinue support for some older platforms, encourage them to transfer to a new platform (and buy the game again), only to have the entire plug pulled a few months later.

 

I understood the decision at the time, but since they did close to nothing compared to previous DLC's...my opinion has changed. Even more shady that they did it just far enough ahead that people probably went out and purchased a new console and a new game...release of GOTY edition and end of support follow less than 3 months later? I'd be heated.

Players would whine if they had to instead unlock individual races, genders, classes etc in order to create their dream characters.

Honestly, I think there is more than enough stuff they can do that you'll never have to unlock a race, a gender or a class.

Guns, Biotic & Tech Amplifier, Melee weapons, Character models, Accessories (for guns, biotic & tech amplifiers and melee weapons), Consumables (ammo, shield booster, etc), new skills/ability to unlock, new melee moves, new dodging moves, etc.

Add cosmetic like special helmets, visors, whatever they can come up with.

Serialize them from level I to X or even XX.

There is no shortage of stuff they can do before they screw us with races, gender and classes. They just need to actually work to give that kind of content. I'm pretty sure that if they do put in the work, the Platinum will sell like hot cakes and they'll get a lot of profit. Always targeting the easiest way isn't making their product any better, delivering content will.

I did, although with the amount of text it might be hard to find:

•Promotions giving stats made the difficulties almost irrelevant

And to a lesser extent (read between the lines)

•Difficulty is based on loot, not player skills

The promotions were the direct result of making the challenge system not repeatable. They traded the flexibility of the ME3MP system that allowed you to play whatever you liked to a rigid system where only promoting matters. Personally, I think it was a very bad design decision, but then again, it's not like those bad decisions aren't all over the place in DAMP...

Yup proto. Week of the announcement after I told bill off for having shatty pr I went and got a ps4 ( was going to get one just rushed more) thinking ya know dlc. Then like a month or 2 later its oh were done with damp and release goty? They need to gtfo and issue reimbursements. I spent all together 140 in this half assed nightmare of a game not including the ps4 and now I don't even play it much. All the bw bs gets old. More people need to see what they've done to they're expendable customers. Ill personally never buy another bw game new ever. Feabw!

Being able to put your own choice head on a character would have been a nice touch. I mean they don't have any personality anyway (Izabella excluded).

 

Having the characters talk about ham over and over again wasn't too fun either.
