Just completed above mission but game is still showing an active quest on game screen. Will this eventually go away or do i have to replay it. Its a side quest that says i have 3/5 keys needed

If it's one of the quest with the halla statues you need to collect to open doors it'll go away on its own. You can't open all the doors even if you find all the statues.

Probably the Halla Statues? There are 11 total and you can open the storage with them, Celene's room and the Garden, or skip Celene's room and open the vault instead to reconcile her with Briala. You can skip all of that and just open the locked ones after you close the rift, but they don't have anything great in the chests in my opinion.

 

3/5 mean you clicked on Celene's room I think. You need 5 to enter it.

 

I usually open her room (5), open the storage (1) and do the Red Jenny quest (3) as well as complete the scandal and coin quests.

Yeah you just ignore it now. What happened is you most likely clicked on Celene's room and a bug managed to keep it listed as incomplete. Happened to me with the Healing Herbs for Mother Giselle. I completed it and it claimed I needed 1 more elfroot. First time I ever saw that happen too.
