First, let me state I just got through playing DA:I and I was impressed. 208 hours of enjoyment.
Now as I understand the Ultima series is owned by EA and that opens up some great potential. I can only imagine the world of Britania remade by the Bioware team in the style of the Inquisition. Someone needs to pass that up the chain and make it happen. Seriously that game is very dear to me, and it is about the biggest complement I can give you guys by entrusting a remake of that world into your hands.

I've never played an Ultima game (maybe on SNES?), but I have read the plot for every single one of them and yes, I would love to play that!!!!

The developer of U5:Lazarus is actually working on MEA, so there are Ultima lovers at BioWare.

Not really the right forums to discuss this.
The BioWare crew probably doesn't care very much about other EA properties.
You might want to take this over to the EA boards...

Ultima is no mere "EA property".
It's the grand daddy of RPGs, the Mario of menu-driven gameplay, the Template from which the greatest took their inspirations...
It's also one of the most damned abstruse game franchises ever made: taking its core concepts, trimming down the most unintuitive, unergonomic, and downward annoying aspects of the gameplay and giving it a much needed makeover would be a worthwhile endeavor...
Which will probably never be done, alas.

Maybe take it to the off topic forums? Oh, wait...
