What do you guys expect from it this year? 

Mass Effect: Andromeda being cancelled and BioWare adopting Konami's lucrative pachinko business model.

I don't want any information about the plot or the characters beyond what I might discover from reading the back of the game box. I want to be surprised. I would like to see some more graphics and combat stuff and maybe some non-spoiler game play.

I expect I'll be watching a livestream of the Citadel DLC on Twitch and listening out for any information about what is to come... but even if there's no information, I'll be watching anyway.

Yes, that is essentially nothing.  I felt as if we got more information at the Comic Con 2014 panel than the N7 Day stream.  That was all about developers showing off concept art.  Art that may not even come to fruition in the actual game.  And then literally no info about the concept accept, "we want players to sense this is a big open world," or "we want players to see how beautiful and luscious environments are, and alien structures."

 

I am calling it how I see it.

A choice of the default male and female faces for the protagonist. There should be a poll on the forum, twitter, and facebook. This and choices of hair.

I know what I will be doing - celebrating by drinking from my N7-branded glasses dressed in my finest N7-branded clothes while listening to ME-themed music.

 

What I expect from BioWare? I try not to expect anything, in order to not get too disappointed, but I do think it's about time they gave us a bit more meat. I'm hoping we'll get some kind of trailer, but I don't think it will actually happen. It seems more likely they'd hold that off until the VGA, or whatever it's called this year. But maybe a small snippet of the new trailer? Or some screenshots at least? And hopefully some more solid info as well, like time-frame or what it is we'll actually be doing.

 

While I've been yearning for more MEA info ever since it was announced, I've spent the last couple of years focusing on DAI. But now that's over and done with, I need my ME fix!

As to why I'd guess we already know. To get away from the Reapers in case we lost the war. As to what we'll be doing there only time will tell I think.

That's the most I'd expect, and it's also what I want to know the most. Been quite a while since announcement, no more speculation. Give us something to work with.

 

The least I'd expect is maybe some concept art. Preferably ships and weapons.

I hope that they'll release...

 

1.  Name of the protagonist.  Little bit of his story.

 

2.  Name of the krogan we saw in the trailer.  (Think his name was like, Krink?  Krunk?   something like that, if the leak is to be believed.  Little bit of his backstory.

 

3.  Name of the female asari we saw in the trailer.  Little bit of her backstory.

 

There's already half an hour.   An hour if they really stretch it, maybe send us a couple'a screenshots.

 

What do I expect?  For them to wake up Monday, November 9th, saying, "Wasn't there something I was supposed to do this weekend?"

 

EDIT :  Because let's face it.  That's the reason that we all play these games.  The characters.  Not anything else.

Hyping by telling us stuff thats already known but with a pretty bow on it. 

I like the fallout approach of keeping your trap shut until release is relevant, also solves downgrading drama and false advertising.

I expect a little more than last year like with the teaser trailer last year and the trailer this year at E3. But probably just more unexplained concept art.

I'm fine with waiting for a real trailer at next years E3.

What I would like to know is 2 of our squad mates. Little details about the protagonist.
Oh and like did we just arrive.
