Hydra is now getting on my nerves. Long range derpiness.

Its probably just flukey and random, but I've been landing in WAY too many Hydra games lately, including 3 games in a row (!!!) the other day (most if not all of them being "Unknowns" that just rolled Hydra). Getting pretty sick of that map.

In general, these are my personal thoughts.

1 Glacier

2 Ghost

3 White

4 Reactor

5 Giant

6 Jade

7 Goddess

8 Vancouver

9 Hydra

10 Dagger

11 London

12 Condor

13 Rio

You enjoy boring flat London more the Condor, really? Do you drink you draft beer flat too?

For me the ones I dislike the most are Rio and Condor.

My favourite maps are White, Giant, Goddess and Ghost.  I wouldn't mind Ghost Hazard if it wasn't so bugged on the PS3, that map always reminds of the Gears of War map where you get the razor hail.

But Condor has more frames power on PS3 then Goddess and Ghost Hazard. ... ever try running a max running speed Fury on PS3 maps like Goddess and Jade? Don't. You get a headache.

Yeah maybe, but I like the layout of those maps and playing mainly off-host with an average connection you learn to make do.

Condor looks great, but is very frustrating to play (for me), Goddess is a good map for any difficulty even if it is buggy and although I like the idea of Hazard Ghost it is a pain on PS3 (as you probably know), especially if you roll Collectors.

Still it wouldn't be as much fun if they were too easy, would it?  :P

^ Condor being frustrating is a beginners thing. Eventually you learn to find cover. True story.

And yes, too easy is not much fun. Why we all eventually stop playing the same game over and over again. We git too gud.

Huh.  So much hate for Hydra.  I like Hydra.

The only map I really hate is Hazard Glacier.  It's a small map, barely larger the Armax Arsenal Arena, and with the average PUG's lack of spawn control there's usually nowhere to fall back to if your current location gets too hot because there are literally "enemies everywhere!"  This is no different from normal Glacier, of course, and some players enjoy the sense of intensity that this brings.  I don't enjoy it, but I don't mind it either, which is why I don't hate normal Glacier.  But then you add the hazard swarm, which deliberately follows you around (it does actually follow you, I've tested it) and trolls you when you're trying to do objectives, and now a map with few exits becomes a map with none.

Other maps have issues, of course: Condor and Hazard Reactor are buggy; Dagger is stingy with ammo; Hazard Dagger snipes you; London, Jade and Hydra can have horrible objectives.  But only Hazard Glacier makes me want to ragequit the moment I spawn.

I hate Rio with the burning passion of a thousand Reaper apocalypses.

Long range jankiness plus box cheese makes it the worst map by far.

I truly only hate 2 maps, Hazard Ghost and Hazard Glacier. But, being on PS3, too many maps are buggy and therefore I don't like playing them for that sole reason. Bugs aside, London is probably the toughest map for me. Don't know why. Unlike many others on here, Rio is one of my favorites. Ammo boxes galore and it presents a challenge. Goddess would probably be my favorite if not for bugs. And any map that is stingy with grenades when running my various bloodpack characters, I will try to avoid. But, I guess, other than two I listed above, I can't really say which is my favorite or least favorite

The worst thing about Rio are the waves featuring mission objectives. The assassination usually involves going from one extreme to another of a very large field. Its almost impossible to assist the drone without using medigel at least once.

While I did like to snipe on it during my early days with the game, I soon became tired of it. Its so big it takes forever to end an mission there, even if its bronze or silver. Also, for some reason whenever I played there Ive noticed that people disconnected very frequently. I dont know if their system crashed or if they left on purpose because theyre impatient.

Strangely, I do like Vancouver, and its also a very large place.

Well at least we agree on one thing... time to grab another freshly carbonated one.
