When did this happen, exactly? And what extension specifically? Tried bbc code and tried just plain copy pasting and tried imgur, didn't work still comes up as "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community"
Since it's not telling me hat's wrong here, exactly what should I do?

Maybe it just doesn't like a certain size? But a size isn't a extension >.>

On the end of the url you are trying to link, what is the image extension? Only jpg, png, jpeg and maybe some others are accepted, but image urls that end in webp or a list of numbers can't be linked.

The image url must end in an accepted format, but the software is designed to recognize size variables for what they are.

 

As Moniker mentioned, the data string has to end in a recognized image extension, jpg bmp png etc.
