This topic still going strong. Alistair is alright, I'm just surprised he wasn't a ****** romance, being rather effeminate in his bearing. But he's a hetro after all and doesn't suck. Zevran the bi is the one that sucks.

Having Alistair chop off Loghains head was a highlight I thought
I only wish we could have had the option to chop Anora's head off also. I always go for being Queen..Alistair is adorable.

Indeed. Anyone that does that to that backstabbing traitor is a friend of mine.

But...his looks.
My wardens are vain bro. Immortality isn't worth it unless it's Flemeth like immortality.
Flemeth Immortality is bad you just possessing someone's body. Taint Cory immortality, and Solas fade immortality is better.

I never thought Alistair was effeminate and even if he was, I don't know why that should mean he's gay.

Too bad we cannot chop off Anora's head too. All she got was shoved in a cell.
Hmm, maybe I'll head-cannon my Warden told the guards to dump her father's body in with her. Yes, yes. She can stare at it and watch it decompose. ![]()

She's been possessing that same body for about centuries. Cory immortality includes being blighted. And we're not sure if Solas is still immortal with the veil gone.

And let's face it, she probably was taken to a really fancy cell.

Unless there's some unwritten rule to exploring your lady friend's Deep Roads that I'm unaware of, Alistair doesn't suck anything. ![]()

You know, by that standard, he's one of the minority of DA love interests that definitely don't suck. It's just Alistair, Sebastian, Solas, Blackwall, Cullen and Sera.
(And I'm still trying to figure out what he thought that lampost banter was about if not, y'know, the obvious. I always take joy in replying 'I've licked my share of lamposts, and then some.')

And then you do this with a mage Warden, who, regardless of the face you give him/her, is implied to be a very young prodigy barely out of childhood, then you connect the dots with the abuses committed by templars and suddenly it's a lot less joyful

My headcanon for my mages is that they'd been cheerfully doing all their fellow students in various dark corners of the library. I don't think we have to assume that every mage is raped by Templars. (Although of course it does happen and one victim is too many.) Anders specifically says that he was never sexually abused, for example, and I don't get the sense that it's something that happened to Wynne. (I think she's too positive about her consensual relationship with Gregoir and Rhys's with Evangeline during Asunder for her to have personally had that kind of experience.)

I'm that type of oblivious person who thought he actually meant licking lampposts because he was trying to dodge the question so badly.
I did not realize what it actually meant AFTER I had given the reply.

Between what we learn from Asunder as well as Wynne and Anders' banter It's less headcanon and more like established lore. Still, given that Circles are glorified prison, teenagers getting promiscuous in an environment virtually devoid of privacy is still incredibly creepy.

You're misinterpreting me. They don't have to change, and they don't have to change because of you. But if their character is just static, it may be uninteresting. Also, characters changing because of you isn't inherently unrealistic, no.
Again, I wasn't saying the Inquisitor had to change her, only that I thought her being both static and unlikeable made her a boring character.
Excuse you this is a lie-less thread thank you very much.
