I know there is nothing like a home made bow made with the finest materials. But are there any good end game bows? Im torn between griffon bow and bow of artificer...
Are there any other good archer bows?

artificer (easiest to get), hakkon, and a trespasser bow with penetrating arrows (very good on higher difficulties when enemies have really high armour and you need armour pen, but very late game). Honorable mention to heartstring bow.
Griphon is good too but only against dragons. And if you are artificer or tempest. Assassin should go with above bows or possibly punched by the maker.

Arrowwood. The bow you are thinking about is Arrowwood. 95% armor penetration, piercing shots. Not sure whether that means it fires an upgraded long shot every time that hits all nearby targets as it goes through it or not.. might be something I need to test out when I get to trespasser in this incarnation.

and I got puched by maker mixed up with the descent dlc trezpazam? bane bow which is superior that is the one I was thinking about...target explodes for 150% damage. very good on stealth full draw assassin archer.

The best NON-DLC bow looks like The Fowl Wind from the BE: http://dragonage.wik...i/The_Fowl_Wind
Of the DLC bows, looks like Tezpadam's Bane, http://dragonage.wik...Tezpadam's_Bane, but I don't like the explosion proc, since it could glitch loot drops. The Ice Troll in JoH totally glitches if you finish it with an explosion.
