You may want to learn the above though.
ay what about reaver
Let the nerfs begin
I'll say it again: Drasca "cheated" to get these numbers. He forced a bug that put Reavers Hakkon GS onto another character so he can get massive damage..huge waste of time considering you have to do multiple host migrates...just saying. These aren't normal numbers...see if this one gets deleted too. Apparently he is too scared to face the truth.

The jealousy runs rampant, no surprise here. Please go on being predictable, anytime anyone exceeds your paradigm of minor thought, accuse them of hacks. Someone's still super hurt about needing to L2P. That's what BSN is for, right?

Not jealous I can do this any day but have no desire to do so...can promote so much faster my way than if I were to do that..so no..not jealous sorry
edit: Yup you caught me. I am sooo jealous of your cheating and childlike attitude upon being caught
I'm down, we both have Infurmia and a few other in commonThis might be the last good blowout on DAMP, let's get this thing rolling.
Bruh says this some host migrating weapons bug thing, which Drasca, while being defensive, has not categorically denied, instead deflected with memes and vague insults. (Is anything legit on PC? Geez where do they come up with these [alleged] hacks...)
Seeing how it's unlikely to get them in a lobby together, thereby preventing the aforementioned migrating issue, maybe a third party (not a friend but just a agreeable bystander who would send one [1] invite) could just host Drasca where he can recreate the two damages he has displayed for our edification. Post video, and we will solve this somewhat suspicious damage output? (I have decent stats, decent gear, but have not seen such results before. Who knows though. That might be a "L2P issue" on my behalf as well...)
Not quite Thunderdome, more Dexter's Laboratory, but I still think there would be plenty of interested viewers. I think it would either validate Bruh's claims, or prove Drasca to be playing with integrity and without glitches.
Any takers?
Yea, pretty clear by the conversation its an exploit. Around 1:20 or so on the vid with the virtuoso he seems surprised that he is wearing the accessories of the mage. Makes it sound like he thought all the equipment on the reaver would transfer with the exploit. Then they explain that the "buff" doesn't work with the heart of despair staff at around 5:20. But of course he won't explain why it doesn't work because he is recording (its because the game doesnt think he is using the staff, it thinks he is using....well a different weapon. Leaving it at that.) Just reeks of using an exploit.
That's because it is I have done it before, so have a few others. It was in the last beta they had but Luke never fixed it because he didn't see it as a big deal, not enough host migrates to matter, or some ****. But yes it is a thing and it greatly greatly increases mages damage, im not bashing him for using an exploit, just the fact that he tries to put it off that it is a normal thing to happen. It isn't, just the result of exploiting a bugYea, pretty clear by the conversation its an exploit. This happens because of how the host/players system is set up.
The weapons list transferred from the host will always override any client-side modifications pertaining to base weapon damage and proccing passives (but not VFX). In other words, the client tells the host: I'm playing with this weapon, give me the data for it. Sometimes during a host migration if the player decides to change class, the request for a new loadout doesn't seem to register correctly, which makes the host think the player is playing with whatever other weapon their was using before
If that doesn't settle it idk what does. Has Wavebend let us down before? Not that I recallThis happens because of how the host/players system is set up.

So maybe it's not intentional and was just as much of a surprise to Drasca as it is to us, or can you actually force this?
I am pretty sure that you guys on PC are riding Storm Dragons and are all swinging Crescent Shadows on the deep roads maps. Some shady ish be going down over there...
Not really. Personally I've just been datamining a lot for the past three weeks and am potentially looking to create some new content for MP (as support has ended), but due to how there are still people that care a lot about the leaderboards I fear this won't be possible at all. There are definitely interesting things that could be done, but oh well.
Still waiting for a video titled "Insane Reaver Damage" showing some nice strong Dragon Rage hits while at high health.
