Escape From Deep Roads Problem (Trespasser DLC)

I am playing through the Trespasser DLC for the first time, and I've encountered what seems to be a game breaking problem and I could use everyone's help.  I was able to locate detonators and detonate bombs at the four marked locations and now I am told I have to escape the deep roads.

 

The problem is I get to a point where my path is blocked and it's clear that I have to blow up a bomb to open up the passage.  The bomb reads like it's primed, but it doesn't have the butterfly on top and I can't "select" it with any character to detonate...and it won't detonate remotely either.

 

Is there a solution?  Has anyone else had this issue?

there is a place like that acually 2.

first just auto attack the barrals with a ranged electric or fire attack that should do the trick. then there is a ramp you have to jump up through near the place you met that one miner previously.

then there is a nother passage which you can only open later with your mark ability when you get it but that passage is to a secret item area and not the exit from the tunnel to the crossroads.

I tried that (both ranged fire and lightning).  Doesn't work.  The bomb won't go off even though it's supposed to.

Update.  I figured out the problem and I will repeat what I did here in case this happens to others.  It turns out that if I use fire and/or lightning near one of the bombs that had to go off, but BEFORE I got the short cut-scene telling me that "this mine looks armed", then the mine won't go off in combat and will NEVER be able to go off.  The only solution I found was to go back to a prior save (before this battle) and make sure the mine was not hit by fire and/or electricity until the battle was over.  When I did this, it worked perfectly.
